This move end up being a very nice experience. The movers who came to my house on the day of pick up were polite friendly and careful with my items. They helped me packing my TVs and ceramics and other breakable items. The delivery crew was also amazing, it only took them 2 hours to unload and unpack 2 bedroom worth of things. I am very happy with the service.

Last minute New York to Florida move.

Active movers crew, in particular Serge who managed the move, is very professional. The service is extremely quick and organized on both ends. They helped us moving from New York to Florida during a very strange time period. They also stored our items for free. Thank you for being such a great company!

They showed up on time and took great care of my furniture and also helped me packing my personal items and kitchen stuff. They also repacked my awfully mirrors and TVs and never charged extra for that. The shipment arrived in less than a week. No delays and no damages.

Active Moving is an excellent mover. I was given an estimate by Ivan. He was honest and friendly. Anna in the office was helpful and efficient. The movers who came to my house were professional and polite and careful with my stuff. I highly recommend Active to anyone moving to North Carolina.

This was a complex move and my movers made it quick and professional. I had to reschedule it few times but my contact Ivan was super patient and helpful. The crew worked extremely hard and have gone beyond our expectations.

This company came recommended by my real state agent who used them few times already. The owner of the business stopped by the next day after the initial call and made an onsite inspection of what needed to be done. The move was planned 2 weeks in advance and they brought boxes an packing supplies so we could start packing things. On the day of move our team was really hard working, friendly and polite. The move was finished even earlier than planned. One of my best moving experiences.

They will rip you off if your not careful.

Booked a move from Walden NY to Clarksville TN, price quoted was not what the actual price turned out to be. Was quoted a price for 450 cu ft with the understanding when they picked up my stuff the price would be adjusted. They came to pick up my things and my wife was there to let them take the stuff. They turned around and told here it was 500 cu ft (an additional 50 cu ft). Basically they took advantage of my wife and I had no choice at this point because I was already down in Tennessee. I told the person picking up the load that there was no way it was more than what the estimate was and that I would be measuring the load when it got delivered. When the load got to Tennessee and I measured it it was actually less than 400 cu ft. So instead of getting a reduction on the job like what was told to me it was increased by $400. Again I had to pay the delivery guys or they wouldn't unload my stuff. I took pictures of how much space the load took up on the truck and had the driver sign the paperwork stating the load was less than 400 cu ft so I could get money back on the move. Well you can imagine the run around I received from the sales person and the owner when I tried to get my money back. I wouldn't recommend using this company because they try to rip you off and don't honor their word. They will tell you anything to get you to use them and then turn their back when you catch them lying about the actual load. Two weeks later and I still haven't gotten anyone to tell me what they are going to do about over charging me.

Raise price multiple times, broken TV, delayed delivery.

100% regret using it. We did a lot of research before going with Active moving, even though it quoted a higher price than others. Thought we would avoid pricing scammers (WRONG). Turned out it’s a completely scam and it will try to rip you off on every opportunity. 1. Movers asked for 40% MORE of the agreed price on moving day - we had the exact furnitures, even with 3 FEWER boxes compared to what was on the inventory list NEVER TRUST ANYTHING THEY PROMISED. Ivan gave me a “final price” on phone. He even emphasized this was NOT an estimate but the FINAL PRICE. We had it on voice recording over all our conversations. On the moving day, the movers came in, looked around our stuff, and told me they can only start moving with 40% of what was agreed before. Ivan’s phone was then conveniently unreachable. And the mover simply said the quote was too low and Ivan wasn’t authorized to give a final quote. Final price was decided on the moving day. At that point, we had no other option as we had to move on that day. This is just a gross strategy they use. With Ivan promised again and again on a “final price”, and movers raised the price (didn’t even care to use a valid excuse) on the moving day knowing you have no other choice but pay the extra $. The mover will tell you now this is the final price - later you’ll find out it’s not the final price for the delivery movers. 2. Promised delivery time pushed back 3 times, worst-in-class customer service Ivan first told us 5-7 regular days for delivery and had it written down in the initial contract. On moving day, movers told us it would take 5-10 business days, but closer to 5 days. Fine. We called the number they provided. Every time we called, the women on the phone said she would call me back - 4 out of 5 times, the never called…
