This site is a form, some tools, and a theme toggle. We are not dropping a stack of ad pixels on a packing checklist.
This page is a counsel draft as of 17 September 2026. It describes how Haulest works today. It is not legal advice. Counsel should review it before we treat it as final.
Necessary
These run the site you asked for. The banner’s OK stores a local flag so we stop asking on this browser.
- Theme preference (light or dark) in local storage.
- Checklist ticks in local storage on this device.
- Your move memory (
haulest-move) and reading memory (haulest-journey) in local storage: what you typed into tools, which kinds of page and which mover profiles you opened, and how many visits. They prefill the quote form and stay on this device unless you send a request. Clear both from My move. - Host security cookies that keep the form honest.
- The cookie-notice flag (
haulest-cookie-ok) in local storage. - Haulest staff only: a sign-in marker (
haulest_desk) that keeps our own visits out of the visitor counts.
Analytics and advertising
We do not run Google Analytics, an ads pixel, or a partner retargeting cookie on the public site today. If that changes, this page will name the product and how to opt out before it goes live. Until then, assume we have server logs (IP, user-agent, path) and nothing else.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we will honor it for any later advertising cookie we actually set. There is nothing to honor on that channel today.
What we do not use today
No cross-site advertising cookies. No mobile advertising identifier collection: the Haulest Home Scan app on Google Play does not read the advertising ID, and its usage analytics are off unless you turn them on. No session replay. No “pixel of a partner network” on the public pages.
