• Reworked the research ranges for Sheffield, Nottingham, Cardiff, and Belfast. The first version leaned on a clamp, so two pairs of cities showed the same figures. Each city now follows its own priced reviews against London's, and none sits above London.

15 October 2026

• Six new city cost pages: Edmonton, Halifax, Sheffield, Nottingham, Cardiff, and Belfast. Each one opens with a street rule read on the official page that day: a container permit, a winter parking ban, a bay suspension fee, or a removals exemption.

5 October 2026

• Home Scan, a photo inventory app for Android, is in closed beta. Walk the home room by room, confirm what it spots, and share a read-only, versioned inventory with movers. It does not price moves.
• Haulest accounts: sign in with an emailed code, keep your home inventories synced between the app and the website, edit them on a computer, and send them for quotes.

4 October 2026

• Province pages for Canada, such as Moving in Ontario and Moving in British Columbia: who takes a complaint, the credential a carrier holds, what reviewers paid in CAD, and the movers in each city. Each rule links the province's own page, opened this week.
• A Canadian visitor's detected or saved province now leads to its province page, and city pages show Canada, the province, then the city in their breadcrumbs.

2 October 2026

• One page per question. Movers took over the reviews hub. A city's movers page, such as movers in Austin, now lists every mover we hold dated reviews for and what reviewers there report. The separate place listing and topic pages for that city redirect to it.
• State pages, such as Moving in Texas, list every city we hold movers for. The city cost pages folded into the moving-to pages, such as moving to Austin. Short answers folded into the guide, route, or tool that answers them in full, and three overlapping guides became two.
• Breadcrumbs read country, state, city on every place page and mover profile, and every step is a page. Every old address redirects permanently.

29 September 2026

• Security headers on every response: HSTS, nosniff, frame rules, referrer and permissions policies, and a report-only content security policy. www.haulest.com now redirects to haulest.com. DMARC moved to quarantine with reports.
• The homepage, mover profiles, and the cost calculator are cached at the edge and rebuilt in the background. Your saved or detected place still shapes the homepage: the browser asks once and swaps the local blocks. Sort and paging on a profile read the address bar in the browser.
• One page per company at /movers/{slug}. The old /reviews address redirects permanently. Company schema moved with it.
• A profile with no dated review, no live licence record, and no reporting is now noindex and out of the sitemap. The enrichment cron gives those profiles half of each daily run so they can earn a page from SAFER or the press.
• The sitemap is an index of three sets: pages, places, and movers. Each URL carries the date something on it last changed, or no date at all. Article and page markup carry the same date.
• Profile descriptions now say the count, the average, the place, the USDOT, and the newest review date.
• Rate limits and a honeypot on the quote, waitlist, review, and location routes.
• Section headings on city cost, route, and hiring pages read as the question the section answers. Rights and access guides carry a named author and a reviewed date; an authors index lists who writes here.
• Two trust pages: a corrections policy and how Haulest makes money, linked from the footer and the quote form.
• Smaller city directory pages, a skip-to-content link, real error pages, and titles without a hard-coded year.

• Email lifecycle. A quote request sends a confirmation to you and a desk ping to us, then a 24-hour and 72-hour reminder and nothing more. An optional planning tick on the form adds the 8-week list, your city page, three tools, a four-weeks-out note, and a move-week note. One-click unsubscribe. No partner mail, no SMS. Until a provider key exists, mail sits in an outbox the desk can read.
• Two guides the rest of the library pointed at: USDOT and MC numbers and what each proves, and how long a move takes, with delivery spreads labeled as ranges.

19 September 2026

• Reader reviews now go live. The desk approves or rejects each row; an approved row joins the mover’s thread and its stars with a “Haulest reader” label and the date it was approved. Licensed rows are untouched. Still no rating markup to search engines.
• Leads, reader reviews, and the estimator waitlist sit behind one append-only store that uses Redis when the host provides it and local files otherwise, so a deploy no longer drops a lead.
• City review topic pages, 52 of them, at /us|ca|uk/reviews/{city}/{topic}: held goods, damage claims, late delivery, no-shows, and changed estimates. Each prints how many of the city’s dated rows mention the phrase family, the rule that applies, what to do this week, and the movers whose rows matched. Minted only with three or more matches in a city that has a directory.
• Fifteen US state desks at /us/{state}: who regulates an in-state move, the ID to ask the mover for, and the complaint door. No fees or tariff figures we did not open. Linked from the US hub, city cost pages, and city directories.

• Reviews hub H1 is the job, the city when filtered, and the dump as-of. Filters write to the URL, so a lowest-sorted city page is a link. Call + location-first form sits beside the list on desktop and under the filters on a phone. ItemList JSON-LD on the hub.
• Review threads and mover profiles read City, Reviews (or Movers), Name in the trail and in BreadcrumbList. Sort and the pager are real links (?sort=lowest&start=10). Desktop action row: Write a review, Share, Call. Phone: Write and Call tiles; Directions and Website stay hidden until we hold address or site text.
• Write a review at /reviews/write/{id}: five star words, 85 character minimum, autosave, one consent line. Posts go to the desk queue as pending. Licensed rows are never changed. No star markup in search results from any of it.
• Rights guides with the section numbers: 110% rule, bill of lading, released value vs full value, weighing the truck, how to complain, damage claims (30/120 days), late delivery, no-show crews, plus how to read moving reviews and why scores split. Each prints a dated phrase count from the licensed rows we hold.
• /calculators/diesel prints this week’s EIA on-highway diesel price with the week date and turns miles and mpg into a fuel line for a DIY truck. Research, not quote math. /guides/fuel-surcharge explains the tariff percentage.
• /estimator is a waitlist only. The video estimator is not live and is not on any money page.
• City directories at /us, /ca, and /uk /movers/{city} for the 15 cities where the licensed dump holds three or more mover profiles. Dump cards keep stars; US pages add starless census extras. Cities under the bar are not minted. Linked from each city cost page.
• Access guides: moving in New York City (COI, elevator, curb signs, no city permit), ULEZ and LEZ for a London van, lithium batteries on a moving truck.
• Reviews and movers rebuilt to the listing grammar: find bar first, no photo hero, crumbs and H1, filter chips, dense listing cards with colored star tiles, category chip, USDOT line, top phrase, snippet, and one quote button. Profiles open with the name, stars, listed line, and Write / Share / Call, then the recommend row, licence block, highlights, and a review section with a histogram, a start-your-review card, sort chips, and a numbered pager. One quote widget and a phone row in the rail.
• Official notes now end with “What you do this week.” New notes: CBSA BSF186 settlers’ effects (former B4) and HMRC ToR1 transfer of residence.

• /movers lists mover profiles plus FMCSA Company Census extras (Socrata az4n-8mr2). Profile cards keep dated review stars. Census extras show legal name, city, and USDOT/MC, no stars. Honest empty if the census misses. No Google Maps scrape.
• Calculators, checklists, routes, US/CA/UK, thank-you, and official notes remade from live comps: why + one Call + form + data. City and corridor cards print the 2-bed research band. No photo gallery.
• Legal pages rewritten as counsel drafts after live Yelp / marketplace research. New /terms. Privacy, consent, cookies, not-a-carrier, estimate policy, and methodology are documents, with no photo hero.
