A same-day crew is leftovers. In February on a Tuesday it can still work. In July on a Saturday you are shopping whoever is left, and you will pay for that.

When same-day is real

Off-peak midweek, a studio or a 1-bed, clean driveway, no piano. You still need a written inventory and a name that matches the van.

Peak Saturday same-day is how people meet a cash-only truck. Use the deposit checker before you celebrate the number.

What to do tonight

Call. A form that promises a crew in four hours is a lead, not a booking. Ask for a USDOT or Companies House number while you are on the phone.

Pack a first-night bag yourself. If the leftover crew misses the window, your sheets should already be in the car.
