Corrections policy
Numbers, rules, and company records on this site can be wrong. Tell us and we fix the page, date the fix, and say what changed.
This page is a counsel draft as of 29 September 2026. It describes how Haulest works today. It is not legal advice. Counsel should review it before we treat it as final.
How to report an error
Email info@haulest.com with the page URL and what is wrong. A mover can also use the claim flow on its own profile. We read every report; you do not need an account.
What we correct
- A number on a cost, route, or calculator page that does not match its source or its date.
- A rule, section number, fee, or form ID on a rights, customs, or state page.
- A company record: legal name, USDOT or MC, address, website, or licence status on a profile.
- A review row that is not about the company shown, or a duplicate profile.
We do not remove or edit the text of a dated review because a company disagrees with it. A verified business account can post a public response under the review.
How fast
A factual error on a money or safety page is fixed within two working days of the report. A company record correction that needs the official register is fixed on the next weekly refresh, or sooner when the record can be read the same day.
How a fix is marked
The page keeps its “as of” line and its checked date. When a value on the page changes, that date moves and the changelog gets a line. We do not backdate, and we do not bump a date on a page that did not change.
What we will not do
We will not invent a star total, print a first-party median we do not hold, or present a research range as a bid. If a report asks us to add a number we cannot source, the answer is a link to the source and a note that we do not hold it.
