What to know before the deposit
Texas registers in-state household-goods movers and requires a written proposal before the move. The TxDMV runs a consumer campaign under the name Don't Make a Move without checking the mover; use its lookup before a deposit.
Registered is not the same as good. A state credential means the office can find the company and that it filed what the state requires. Read the dated reviews, then call.
