Moving is so stressful but this time it was no stress at all. I made sure that I did my research before I chose a mover. This team at Alliance is so professional and so kind. They make sure that all of your stuff is delicately wrapped and protected. I am so happy with the service that they provided for my family and I. I will be calling in the future.

I never thought that I would be this happy from moving. I must admit that Alliance makes sure that your move goes wonderful no matter what. I was so impressed with the sales process and the move out. I was so happy that I watched them move me in and I was even more impressed. I must say that they win all ways around. They didn’t damage a single item. I am so happy. Smiling is definitely an understatement.

Working with a company like that just assures you in a sense that it’s going to be all about good business. Alliance Moving was the first company we spoke to and the company we ended up working with. Everyone thier really knew the craft. They showed us regulated websites and yearly awards and statistics. They showed us how to protect ourself in the event of the unseen. It was an easy and even fun time using a company like this and we would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

The squad that they sent to move my family and I were just amazing. I am so happy and I really want the world to know just how amazing these guys are when it comes to moving furniture and all your belongings. I can’t believe that this move went so good and so easy. They are the truth and they have all the knowledge when it comes to moving.

The move went very well with Trans World Van Lines was very good to us. We reserved our dates about 3 weeks before and really saved over a thousand dollars. The movers were highly trained and well run. Nothing damaged at all and my house was clean. They were all about delivering my furniture as soon as possible. Always able to speak to our moving rep and it went easy. Simple and how it should be.

We contracted with them in Feb for a move from NJ to Texas in September. We got a reasonable "guaranteed" quote. In July, we moved the date up a few weeks into August. When moving time came they said we switched to "Summer Rates" and our cost went up 50%. On moving day, they said we went over the weight and was charged an additional $4K over that! After the movers left our new home in Texas and we started to unpack we found many broken items and missing items such as a TV, expensive leather jackets and kitchen appliances. We put a claim in and was told it could take up to 4 months to get it resolved. It is now more than 4 months and I still have not heard a word.

Worst company ever!

Used this company for cross country move - scratched floor and doorframe moving out, left treadmill outside in pouring rain for 2 hrs - mixed up our delivery date with another customer then required an additional $740 to deliver at the last minute, upon delivery there was approx $5K worth of damage - this was before I had even unpacked half the boxes. We filed a claim, it has been over 4 months and no one has contacted us and I can't get anyone to call or email me back - lawsuit is on it's way!

Dented walls, couch lost, terrible reimbursement.

Do NOT use this company. They moved us out of a Chicago high rise and showed up in the evening (scheduled for AM) so we had to make extra accommodations to be able to move the following day. We had to call them to ask when delivery was happening and they said NEXT DAY. Moved into a brand new house and destroyed walls (dents the size of baseballs). Lost and entire couch and still charged us the space to move it. Did not reimburse for couch, 4 broken lamps, or dented walls. Do not use these movers. Move also cost double their quote. Any positive reviews are fake. They all have the same grammatical errors.

Worst Moving Experience Ever.

I signed a contract with Alliance Movers in early June for a cross-country moving that would take place starting August 8 with a 2-days window. I emphasized many times that I had a preferred delivery time around August 24. The sales representative told me although I didn't contract for guaranteed delivery, they would very likely accommodate my requirement because I booked early. Relying on this, I arranged my schedule in August. On August 8, no one contacted me. I called Customer Service. It said it will check the status and get back to me soon. Till the end of that day, no one contacted me. On August 9, I called the Customer Service again. Like the previous day, it said it will get back to me after it checked the status with the truck driver. I waited until the afternoon when a dispatcher told me that the driver would come on August 10. On August 10, no one came. I called Customer Service. No one answered because it was a Saturday. I called the sales representative who fortunately transfered the working phonecall to her personal cellphone. A few hours later, the dispatcher called me saying that the driver can pick up my stuff on August 11. My travel plan was heavily interrupted by the unexpected and unexplained delay. The delivery part is even more disappointing. In early August before the moving took place, I called to double-check whether my stuff can arrive in the destination around August 24. Customer Service said it marked my request on the system. When the driver and mover were here, I checked again and they told me the delivery can be made between August 24 and August 26. On August 20, I called Customer Service again to check the status who told me that my stuff would arrive around August 29. Later when I called again to ask a few details, another Customer…

I had to move for work. From Missouri to California. When I started the process, I talked to Ruth Steinberg. After the sales pitch, We talked about the inventory to be transported. I talked to Ruth, and decided that we should over estimate the amount of space need. We went from 500 cu ft, to 1001 cu ft. In conversation with Ruth, I was advised that, if I came in below the number, I would only be charged for the amount moved. I paid the deposit, and was advised by Ruth, that she was the contact point for the entire move. After giving her the deposit, I have not heard from Ruth. After multiple attempts at calling her and emailing her, no response was given. The movers came and the total load came to 875 cu ft. At $6 a cu ft, the left over space was a substantial cost change. I asked the movers to note the total space used on the revised estimate form that was provided by the company. He had advised me that he talked to his supervisor Ben, who told him not to write that any where. I was advised by the movers that Ben would be calling to talk to me. I attempted to contact Ruth, and never heard from her. Finally was able to convince the movers on site to do a revised estimate. The next day, Ben contacted me, and advised me, that he will be there when my stuff arrives in Chicago, and will let me know. Especially since "the space in loading the stuff on to the trailer, may be more." I am not exactly sure how that works. I am fairly certain that 875 cu ft is 875 cu ft, regardless of if it is loaded on to a moving truck or on to a tractor-trailer. After all of this, I did not hear from Ben. Ruth and Ben were contacted multiple times and never received a call or an email from either of them. Two weeks after the stuff was picked up I got a call from the dispatch center. A person…
