Furniture storage and move to Lytham.

Two lads turned up on time packed all our furniture into two large container crates wrapped furniture in blankets only took them 1hour 30 mins brilliant fellow's very professional stored for two and a half months rang up for a date to deliver furniture again lads arrived on time very professional all our furniture were placed in righrooms I can't praise all staff enough they were great.

We were helped tremendously by this company when the people we bought from messed us about re completion dates being constantly moved. Ended up having to store our furniture for 5 weeks with Andrew Porter Ltd. after having messed them about re a definite date. They were marvellous, helpful and understanding especially as it was just before Christmas. I cannot speak too highly of this company. The two lads who collected the contents were great as were the the two different lads who finally delivered them to our new house. All through the process all their staff were excellent.

We have been let down with the property we wanted to purchase and everything turned into a mad panic as my buyers threatened to withdraw their offer giving us just 5 weeks to get out. From initial contact with Elaine Anton, the assessors and finally Joe and Paul, who moved us into storage today I can only say all concerned have excelled. Tomorrow we move into temporary accommodation and no doubt the service will be just as efficient.

Thank you so much for the excellent service you have provided, from the start the man who came and gave the estimate to all the dealings I have had with your office to the really great service of all the removal men. I cannot fault the service your company has provided it has made my move so much less stressful than I expected. Please pass on my grateful thanks to all . My property has been in store for 7 months and then came fown from Lancashire to Kent, with not a single item broken or damaged.

Our Son had bought his first home and whilst living at home, acquired several items of furniture. After arranging for a viewing of these items with quotation a date was confirmed. I can only emphasise this was our first arrangement with Andrew Porter and their Operatives. Everything went smoothly on the day except they could not get an old chest of drawers up the stairs after several attempts, they agreed to temporary store until a solution was found I.e. to return it "back to base" at no charge. Have no reservation in recommending this Company and would certainly use again in the future.

Very efficient and good-natured service. More boxes than estimated were needed and more staff were also drafted in but this was quickly dealt with. Removers worked very hard and were extremely helpful, responding well to all our concerns and requests. Packing service was excellent. (Paul and Joe). I should have checked in advance where the van needed to park then I could have alerted the neighbours appropriately - I had assumed they would park by the side of the house. It would be useful if this could be clarified earlier with customers. A more appropriate piano "cradle" is needed than the trolley which was used for ours to avoid lifting pianos manually. I would definitely recommend Andrew Porter to others and use them again.

Our assessment showed that some of our furniture was too big to go into containerised storage. So we had two removals. Both were smooth and professionally undertaken by proficient and helpful staff who took care of our furniture and wrapped and protected it when necessary. I would highly recommend Andre Porter’s.

The efficiency of our removal was second to none and we were kept up to speed at all stages. The staff Paul and Joe were very friendly and worked tirelessly throughout to deliver my furniture etc and they continuously checked that we were happy with the location of all items. Despite our very short notification of our move the company went out of its way to accommodate our needs during a very stressful time. We will definitely use this company again.

The disappointing return of my belongings.

I wrote a review expressing my satisfaction giving 5* and stating how smoothly it all went. The return of my belongings from storage was not smooth. A large quantity of my breakkables were broken and I watched one of the removers throw a box into the corner of a room on top of a unit. It was marked books so I suppose he thought it acceptable and there was nothing breakable in it.!! Can’t say I would use them again.

Wow new level of poor service! Been trying to contact these people via email for 2 weeks to try to give them some business. Seems the contact given is on hols, no out of office and no one monitoring customer enquiries on the website! Ring up and told I can't get an estimate for 2 weeks because I can't do 8.30am, err yes I work to pay for houses to employ removal firms. As Head of Customer Services for a large organisation I am amazed how businesses don't seem keen on making a profit. If you'd ever like me to develop a strategy for you that will contribute to your profit margin do let me know. In the meantime I'd at least research 'customer nominal value' a concept you may find useful in the future.
