We used them to pack and move our 3 bed house to a 4 bed. Came in the day before the move and packed everything, safely and securely in a few hours. On removal day they were so quick and efficient, even with some of our more troublesome items (sofa getting into the new front room and our treadmill needed dismantling to fit through the house). No fuss and worked tirelessly. Came back a couple of weeks later to pick up their removal boxes to be reused/recycled, which is a fab added bonus. On time, in fact early every day. Would definitely recommend and use again.

They were very helpful throughout the process, they were a bit of miscommunication however they were sorted at the end of the day. Appreciate the communication and being courteous.

City Removals packed and move our stuff in 2 separate dates. Packed on Tuesday and moved on Thursday. They gave a lot of advice how to live after packed. Left what we needed until move date. They packed stuff carefully and efficient. Just used 4 hours to pack 5-bedrooms home. However they used 2 rounds to move the stuff. The move time was a little bit longer than I expected. The overall service is very good.

They broke my TV during the move. When reported, they threatened me with charges if I don't pay on time instead of helping with the claim. Very unhelpful customer service. If everything goes well, you'd think they are the best. But when you have a problem, you find out the real truth about how good they are. In fact, they are terrible. Zero friendliness and just threats and super long emails.

Poor packing, Not collect cartons.

This is my second time to use City Removals. I was happy for their service before, but not this time. They packed roughly on 1 Sep 2020. All stuff fell off during my unpack. Moved on 2 Sep 2020. They broke one of my wall lamps and my mirror. They will contribute good will gesture for this. But I have not yet received. We requested collection of cartons on 14 Sep. They agreed to collect on 19 Oct. But no one showed. The next collection of cartons is 1 Oct. I need to keep the cartons for 2 weeks. Too late! They asked me to recycle the cartons by myself if I can't wait. Collection of cartons included in the packing service price. They are responsible on this, but they failed.

Don't use them.

This company moved my 2 bed flat to a four bed house. They didn’t attend the agreed viewing and didn’t arrange for the correct size trucks (we made decisions based on their vast experience and recommendation) the movers themselves were rude and abrupt asking for cash as soo as they arrived (despite us paying on line) they furniture that was delivered arrived damaged. Despite claiming they have full insurance it took nearly a month to get a response and they refused to offer any insurance claim for me. I cannot recommend this company to anyone.

I am not able to provide a fully positive review. I was very optimistic after the first phase of my move - packing and removal to storage. This phase was very efficient. I found a treasured piece of furniture had a broken handle after moving my furniture from storage to my new home. I know it was broken during the move because I found the broken piece in the hall. I have also found that City Removals have given me the gift of cockroaches. To date I have found 3. The house I moved to was given a deep clean before my furniture arrived and there was no sign of cockroaches. I definitely did not have cockroaches before my move and so they must have hitched a ride from the storage facility. City Removals have responded by saying that they did not introduce the cockroaches. They have pest removers treat the facility every week. I do not find this convincing and therefore have to have them a poor review and rating.
