Terrible experience.

I recently arranged a move across the country. When I called to discuss a quote they assured me delivery would occur in 7-10 days because they had trucks going all the time. I even asked specifically if my belongings would get put in a warehouse waiting for a full load and they said no. Guess what? That's exactly what happened and I was without my things for a month. When they couldn't deliver on their promise it was my fault because I couldn't take delivery earlier or because I was moving to a place no one went to. Once they had my stuff they stopped communicating with me. I could hardly get anyone on the phone and they did not return calls. When my things did arrive many boxes were damaged and things were broken. It was obvious my possessions were not treated with care. There was no follow up. Once they had my money it was "sayonara sucker". The thing is, if they had been honest with me I could have prepared better instead of being stuck with only a suitcase of clothes and nothing else. Moving is stressful enough without companies like this misleading people and treating them like nothing more than a paycheck. No caring, respectful attitude here.
