I moved with them more than a year ago but still have a good feeling. Recently my new neighbors moved in the apartment below. They left a mess in the elevator, movers smelled like they never seen shower and they were swearing left and right. I remember when I moved with LDRS guys were professional, clean and well spoken. My interactions with their office was very helpful and informative. I fill so good that I moved with them.

I was very apprehensive about my move despite all the positive reviews for this company. With the move all done, I must say that they deserve their stellar reputation and I would choose them for my next move too!

Completely dishonest.

We learned very quickly that anything these people said on the phone was worthless if it wasn't confirmed via email - which means they never once confirmed what they said on the phone with hard print proof via email. The last example was being told that we were due a refund of $510 for not delivering within their promised date range. Also, they never responded to our certified mail outlining our claim for damages and lost items. To anyone thinking about using these people, These are the type of people for which the term caveat emptor came to be. I and many others have warned you.

I would not get these people again. The movers were not careful how they packed lamp shades, broke the arm on the lamp, and on my tripod camera holder broke the slider that it could move up or down on, broke 2 wheels on my dinning room buffet table. Never, Never, again, also didn't figure the whole total move correct, and had me pay for extra u-haul truck so the could haul it to there main truck because they couldn't get in my apt. complex. Why didn't they know that from the beginning. Never, again I am a senior citizen, what a rip off. I had to fix things my self. they said I had to get the papers notarize. A lot of work, I would have to get a lawyer.

Horrible. Horrible horrible. Just about everything that others experienced. No respect. Non professionalism. They do not stand by their words and horrible customer service. They picked up our stuff on two diff trucks. Our stuff stood in warehouse for 2 months before it was delivered. 5-6 lost boxes and wet mattresses. One lost item was irreplaceable. My daughters school medals and trophies They show no compassion. Tons of stuff was damaged and they reimbursed us $130. I would never recommend these people and would stop someone from iusing them. Already spreading the word.

The first quote we received was $6466.00, then it was increased to $8145.45 because they had “left out certain items” which we did tell them about. Then the day of the move, AFTER our items were packed onto the truck, they inform us the final price was $16767.50! The movers showed up a day early to our house, so we were scrambling to get the last of our things packed up - finally just conceding and paying the extra fee for them to complete the pack..this proved to be a "so-so" decision. Our closing now had been pushed by 2 weeks and of course they could store our stuff, but it would be an additional $2,800. The price of the move doubled (even without the packing) from the original quote. We had clothes and a piano that we didn't tell them about (by the way, we did). But what are we going to do, have them take the things already on the truck off and then find another mover in a few hours?? Lesson learned, ALWAYS READ THE 30 pages of fine print associated with a long distance move and ALWAYS get a not to exceed price. So, you get the picture….Classic bait and switch!! W called let them know that we couldn't start unloading until late, or Saturday. But, when I finally got someone to talk to me, they acted like they never even knew that they were to be there Friday. By the way, "we aren't loading your items until Monday afternoon"! WHAT!! Nope, our stuff wasn't going to get there until Tuesday at 3:00. Now, I'm back on the phone with Paula. Need to talk about the price of the move and the fact that our stuff didn't arrive as agreed upon. Long Distance Movers response: I should just be glad that they worked with us and didn't charge full price for the remaining packing since they came a day early. They provided the bank the request information regarding storing our property…

I know this is a cliche, nevertheless, I would give these movers a -5 star rating if possible. They bait and switch and given false numbers regarding their load-in to bump up the moving price. They Under estimated the move them, tacked on almost 2,000 cubic feet to the final load out. In my circumstance, LDRS, used half packed boxes (with out any packing material) and dodgy loading tactics to give the actual load out. My job had allegedly been 3,500 cubic feet, however, the boxes fit into a 3,150 cubic foot storage locker. When I finally rearranged their hapless unloading in the unit, the total came to 2,670 cubic feet. After I checked all of the boxes and repacked them, the total cubic footage was 1, 840 cubic feet. LDRS and their agents/employees also misplaced/stole $17,500 worth of merchandise and damaged or broke another $11,000 worth of household goods including china, Waterford Crystal, damaged appliances, cracked Denby china, broken boogie boards, damaged bicycles and many other items. This company is currently not authorized to operate according to the D.O.T. (as of this writing on 01/27/2019). Sufficed to say, they only possible recuperation I might have available is arbitration or a civil law suit (negligence, misrepresentation/fraud and conversion.) Unfortunately, I believe they may be going out of business. I will also be looking into filing criminal charges against the company in California for theft, larceny, fraud and/or misrepresentation. In the end, we did not have them deliver to the destination. We had it delivered to a storage unit so we could get out from under their malfeasance. M. Canada.

Paid over $15k to Long Distance Relocation Services for a move from VA to AZ in June 2018. We had to assist the origin movers because they were running behind, they also re-adjusted the price quoted several times after our belongings had already been loaded. Once our stuff arrived in AZ the movers attempted to unload items that did not belong to us and I had to inform the movers that the items did not belong to us. We had several items broken due to poor packing to include my daughter's loft bed I submitted a claim form for the broken items in July after waiting the advised time-frame for them to process the claim as stated in the paperwork they informed me I had to sign a release for the funds which I did, it is now January 2019 and I have not seen payment I have tried contacting their claim office and left several messages with no return response. Do not use this company for your move unless you want to end up with your belongings broken and fighting a claim.

We paid LDRS $11,000 to move from Oregon to Massachusetts. When they came to pack our house they dragged the washing machine down the stairs. We submitted a claim, which was denied as they cited their policy of not being liable for property damage. During the entire moving process they were also beyond rude to speak to on the phone. I would not recommend them to anyone, and I’m honestly surprised they’re still in business.
