Broker company, bad estimates given. Contracted packers out of Sacramento, horrible, no experience, damaged several of my items. Two deliveries for my furniture, boxes etc. 3 weeks apart. 2nd delivery had my mattresses so had nothing to sleep on for 3 weeks. Status not available unless you call. One excuse after the other. Filed claim, they never paid, they offered less than $300 for about $1500 worth if damage. Take out extra insurance if you still want to use this company.

Robbed my Mother.

This company was a scam from the get go! My mother who was moving from Reno, NV to Grants Pass, OR was charged double for what she was quoted, and even worse she was charged even more when they finally arrived with her stuff almost a month later. Over half of her stuff was wet, broken, or missing. Thankfully another customer who got a box with our family stuff in it tracked us down and gave the box back. My mom is still trying to track her stuff down over a year later. Moving Pros. does not care what happens to your stuff once it’s in the truck. Good luck trying to talk to anyone on the phone they do not care either. Hopefully someone with financial backing can get a class action law suit going soon!

Worst Company Ever!! Avoid @ All Costs!!

Read the Yelp reviews & believe all of the bad reviews, they are 100% true and the good ones are fake. This company is a total scam. They gain your trust when sealing the deal & everything after is a complete nightmare. They will double to triple charge you what they quote & then “lose” damage or steal a great portion of your haul. Several people tell the exact same story. Save yourself & chose any other company before you suffer the same fate. We literally paid about $7k to be robbed of 1/3 of our haul. All they do is lie & give you the run around after knowing they did you wrong. The insurance claim dept they use is a joke too. If they offer you anything for your loss, you’re lucky to see a $200 offer.. Class action suit against them is pending.

WORST MOVE ever (Michael Edward Howard 646-849-3864) was the person who gave me estimate. Moved from Dallas to NY, I was 7 months pregnant under stress of move. I was given estimate of around $3K. Pick up date was 2 days before my flight. Movers did not show up on day they supposed to pick up, they called and said have some truck rental issues so they cannot come and will come next day. Fine - Movers came next day, before loading into truck they started saying estimate is going up, surprisingly it was more than double of initial estimate, no change in inventory for a small 1 bed apartment (we packed boxes & all stuff). Whole thing looked pre planned, these guys ask when is your flight on a friendly note & they come just a day before or same day of flight so you are under stress and have no time to deal with stuff & just agree to whatever amount they quote for. Person who gave us estimate & promised the $ won’t change has’nt come into contact from the day of move. Other person contact from that point onward, and says oh that guy is new he did not know how to quote, we are going to fire him for giving this wrong estimate. ALL THIS IS A SCRIPT THEY PLAY WITH EVERY CUSTOMER. During drop off, guys were high school kids who can barely lift box. My husband did major work. Movers did not even had a tool box to assemble bed or table. My husband has assembled everything. Finally two boxes were missing, mattress’s have dirt stains, book cases came broken, bed frame had all scratches. Man this was a DISASTROUS MOVE. Tip I can give is there can be little trust for the movers who actually come home look at your stuff & give estimate. I did claim for damaged items with CSI and they settled the claim for $81 which is ridiculous & said if I accept the $ I have no right to write a…

DO NOT USE - BEWARE!! First of all not the many 5 star ratings. None of them include origin and destination and they are all fake! I had the move me last year from Sparks, NV to Lakewood CO and it was a nightmare!! First of all they almost doubled the cost after the truck was loaded so I really had no choice but to pay. Especially when they told me that they would change me to unload if I didn't pay. Next they moved my household goods to a warehouse in Sacramento, CA (I know - the wrong way!) without letting me know that their plan was to unload and reload my belonging onto another truck that was headed East. This resulted in double the handling and double the risk without making me aware of this at all. Weeks later when the truck arrived I found significant damage to all my furniture and motorcycle. I filed a claim through their "3rd party claims company" called CSI. After going through 2 "settlement offers" I finally agreed to take a loss and move on with the 3rd offer and was advised the Moving Pros would send me a check within 45 days. Check never came and company refuses to answer my calls. Also when the delivery truck arrived the driver advised that he doesn't reassemble which is specifically listed as covered in Moving Pros quote. Over ten months after the move and I am completely screwed. This is NOT a reputable company. Just look for their F- rating with the Better Business Bureau!!

Truck driver arrived at 6:30 pm but did not start unloading until 7:30 pm when helpers arrived. Driver refused to return the next morning. Finally finished unloading about 11:00 pm. The loaders did not unblanket our possessions as our contract stipulated that they would, and I still have dozens of shipping blankets on site here. They lost or did not deliver more than 15% of our property for thousands of dollars in loss to me. Have been unable to collect any claim compensation from the company.

This company is a living nightmare. I received $123 from their liability company after their lost thousands of dollars worth of furniture and personal items. AND YOU CANNOT CLAIM THE MONEY IF YOU WRITE A NEGATIVE REVIEW. Problem #1. 0 tracking of items. Upon delivery, only brought 70% of our things, and brought in several boxes/items that were not ours. No idea where HUGE pieces of furniture are - everything is just gone. Problem #2. Broken items. Of the items that made it, several pieces had damage. Problem #3. Outsourcing. You'll notice a trend on these reviews of people complaining about 3rd party companies/rented trucks; they are all contractors, I.e. they don't care about you. You are LEGALLY ENTITLED to know the license numbers and contact info for all movers. Moving Pros never gave us this even after several requests so we could maybe track down our items. Nothing. Problem #4. They lie. Matt will tell you anything to sell you. Get anything in writing. After they tell you one thing, follow up with an email confirmation. I guarantee they will back-track. And Ryan won't care he lied - don't bother trying. Problem #5. They hold your items hostage when you don't want to pay absurd fees. If you do use this company, when they lose your items, because they will, please know you are not legally obligated to pay the full amount as quoted; however, you'll need to sue them to get it because they'll completely ignore you otherwise. Other problems during our move: - Shuttle fee. It doesn't matter where you live - they're going to hold your things hostage unless you agree to pay it. Don't believe Matt when he says you won't when he's trying to get your business. - Stairs fee. We carried everything down to the truck ourselves to avoid this, but the third party "company" (get…

Do not use this company!! It's a total scam, we had a horrible experience that ended up costing us another couple thousand. On top of that they broke our tv, lost or stole a bike, and broke a chair. Our stuff ended up taking the entire two weeks to be delivered, I called them daily asking when our stuff would arrive and was told it was still sitting in the warehouse in Sacramento. Then after two weeks of being told it was still in the warehouse, I received a call at 6pm saying the driver was an hour out, it then took another two hours for them to finally show up. They had lost some if the parts to put our stuff back together with, but at 10 they finally left. Once I was able to go through my stuff I found one box that had gotten wet and everything was moldy inside. We also turned on our tv only to discover in the middle of the tv there was a huge crack where it had been dropped or something had been banged into it. I called my quote person to tell him what we had discovered and was told to place a claim, so we did. I then read the fine print and discovered what they'll give you back is only like .40 on the pound, so I again called back to voice my complaints and was told the company takes into account what the item was. That's a lie because I just got my quote back and it was .40 on the pound so in total they're only giving us $45 back, the total cost of all things damaged, stolen, or lost was $2,000. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

As other reviewers stated, this company is horrible, and they are running a total SCAM. Please avoid them, unless you want months of hassle. First they use a bait and switch scheme, by giving you a super low-ball estimate, and then jacking up the cost once they pick up your stuff. The cost of our move DOUBLED, from estimate to final cost. The movers at pickup scratched our couch AND the door frame on the way out, and completely broke my headboard. The foreman in charge of pickup then scammed us by saying he was giving us a discount on packing materials, and that we owed him a CASH commission of $70. UNPROFESSIONAL. When I questioned the company about this later, they quickly refunded the $70, and said they were going to "reprimand the foreman". If he was already a problem, why is he still working for your company? When I asked the foreman to break some chairs down so they would fit better, he said "Oh we don't break furniture down; it would take too long". This was after the company had told me that the movers will break down and reassemble the furniture. The foreman at pickup then kept increasing the square footage calculation, until it was DOUBLE. My mistake, I should have gone out there with a measuring tape to check, and take photos. When I questioned the company about this doubling of the square footage estimate, they give a ridiculous explanation about how they calculate the square footage of the items. If your items don't stack perfectly like uniform-sized boxes, they are going to take up more space. So essentially, they are charging you for all this dead space in the van. I did not expect that it would be exactly what they estimated. But I thought at most, maybe $1000 more. It ended up being $2500 more. Long story short, our items then took weeks longer than…

DO NOT USE THIS MOVER!! WARNING!! Moving Prosinc estimated my House Hold Goods 'Move' for $2,800 from Dallas to Connecticut but when the truck got home to pick 'Move' my stuff, he estimated double the amount with no change in the list of items estimated. Ultimately, they refused to transport my goods and I had to rent U-Haul along with their helpers to get my movement done. I paid $742 as a booking amount to Prosinc on 29th Sept. Called them up, sent repeated mails but till date 23rd Jan 2018, they have neither responded to my calls or mails nor have refunded my booking amount. TERRIBLE!! BE CAREFULL!!
