I can only make this short and sweet for anyone looking to hire a moving service. There are SO MANY out there, do yourselves a favor and pick someone else.
Southern Cal movers hired our move out to Iglesias Trucking and while our move was completed I would NEVER hire them again.
Nothing they were supposed to put back together after being moved worked as it did before it was moved. Brand new refrigerator was left partially unplugged but the cover was screwed back on. Electronic Chair was not completely plugged in and they looked for almost an hour (at $270 per hour) for hardware they lost to put wall unit back together.
My finest memory is when two of the workers, including the boy in charge watched as my wife and I lifted plastic containers that were clearly marked when they were removed from said racks put them back in place. I would say 40 - 85 lbs that she and I should never have been lifting, period.
Way too much to go over more so just do yourselves a favor and steer clear of Southern Cal Movers and especially Iglesias Trucking.
