- Binding, 49 CFR 375.403: the price for the listed services, whatever the truck weighs. Only added services or impracticable operations can add charges.
- Non-binding, 375.405: the final charges follow actual weight and the tariff, but you owe only 110% at delivery.
- Impracticable operations at delivery are capped at 15% of the other charges due; the rest is billed later.
