   Move.

   I was very pleased on how American Movers handled my move and more so the three men that showed up. These men took into consideration my concerns and took great care within reason to ensure no damage was done to my furniture and other items. And I am glad I have none to report! Also I should mentioned the 16 plus 1 cubic boxes of books. I've moved stuff in the past and realized how little I know about moving. These guys were like machines that just kept on going. They also moved an encyclopedia for me which is pretty heavy, I honestly thought they would refuse and I wouldn't blame them. When we reached the new place they actually took the time to assist with the best possible layout for the bedroom furniture. I was also very impressed with the one mover who is in college and now forced to take online courses using his extra time to make money. I have to say I was inspired by that as most kids today seem to think they just have to play video games.

   Quick and Easy During Pandemic!

   They were very quick and communication between company was easy. Great value for $$ compared to all the others in the area (Yes I checked all). Best deal for a legit company! They offered to assemble our bed but we declined. They were out 30 mins before their quoted time frame.

   Courteous and professional!

   The movers were professional and courteous. They were very careful wrapping all the furniture and worked very hard to complete the move in a reasonable manner. In addition, customer service followed up with me several times prior to the move and after the move to make sure I was satisfied. I would recommend this moving company!

   They were great, they wrapped everything well and didn't have any breakage. They were quick, the whole day was quicker than we originally anticipated. Everything went off without a hitch.

   Our movers were on time, friendly, professional and ready to go which made my move a lot less stressful. They handled everything with kid gloves. All in all we were very happy with our move and will definitely recommend A.A. American Moving & Storage for all your moving needs.

   A lesson in how to turn a great customer experience into a bad one.

   Melissa in booking/sales and the movers were great. If that were the end of the story, I would rate 5 stars. But, unfortunately, it's not. I prepaid for a 4 hr move (AA said they couldn't process payment over the weekend) with the understanding if we went under, I'd get a refund; if we went over, I'd pay the difference on Monday. (The AA minimum is 3 hrs.) The move came under the estimated time. I reached out the following week - they did not have the paperwork submitted yet and would call me back. They did not. So I followed up the next week and basically have continued calling in almost once a week. It has been acknowledged by multiple people in the office that I am owed this money - but no one can confirm that it has been cleared to be refunded or that it is in the process of being refunded. Every time I am told they need to call me back or call accounting or check with management and - of course - no one calls me back. It is not a large sum, but it is money I am owed. It has been now 2 months and AA has not been able to process a $73 refund. I have now filed a complaint with BBB. AA, you took a pretty stellar customer experience and continue to screw it up.

    Unprofessional, poor communication.

    DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY. We got a call 24 hours before our moving date saying that they could not accommodate our time of move. We live in a high rise and had made the booking a month in advance and had clearly laid out our elevator time since that is the only time that we can reserve the elevator. Not only did they not help us out, they had zero sense of apology (particularly one employee called Julie(dispatch) who was downright rude and blamed us for reserving the elevator at that time, even though it was mentioned on our confirmation pdf from the company) - TERRIBLY UNPROFESSIONAL. If you care about your peace of mind and want a smooth move, DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY. We ended up paying $500 more and had to book another company at the last minute, not to mention spent 5 hours on the phone with them and scrambling to find another moving company a day before moving. I would give zero stars if I could.
