How to read moving reviews
A star average with no count and no date is a decoration. Read the count, the as-of, and the lowest-sorted page before the highest. A 3.5 from a mixed crew and a 4.7 from a small local shop sit in the same template on this site, on purpose.

Why Haulest
Our stars come from dated licensed rows, capped at ten per mover in this dump and labeled as a sample. We do not aggregate other sites into a total.

Four things to read before the stars
The count. Ten reviews and 1,400 reviews are different evidence. On this site a mover with ten rows is a sample from a dump, and the card says so.
The date. A perfect run in 2022 and a no-show last month are both true. Sort by newest first, then read the lowest.
The pattern. One damage story is a bad day. Five in a season is a crew problem. The table above is how often each phrase family shows up across all the rows we hold, so you can tell a rare complaint from a common one.
The paper. A review that names the USDOT, the estimate type, and a delivery date is worth ten that say great guys.
Why the same template for 3.5 and 4.7
A hybrid mover that also hauls junk on a 24-hour schedule collects more mixed reviews than a three-truck local shop. Same page, same rows, same sort. The chrome does not get nicer because the score is higher.
We do not print a not-recommended pile we did not filter ourselves, and we do not invent first names for reviewers. The initial is from the text we hold.
What we will not do
No scraped Google reviews. No combined 4.8 from five sites. No star markup in search results from other people's ratings. Visible stars, dated rows, a source label on the row it came from.

1. Written estimate after a look
Interstate movers must give the booklet and a written estimate after a survey or a full description. A $499 ad is not an estimate.
