   A Better Way Moving Co. sent Terry, Mike, and Dakota to load our truck. They were very professional. Everything was loaded in a timely manner. We couldn`t have packed up the truck without them. Thank you again for all of your help, Ron & Cindy Skopelja.

   I have heard so many bad stories about moving companies we were very nervous about using a moving company. A Better Way Moving and Storage were punctual, uniformed, and professional. Everything worked out perfect as our stuff arrived the day after we did. They made sure to ask exactly where to put each box in our new house. I would recommend this company to anyone.

   Very friendly and professional.  I've used them twice in the last 3 years and I will be using them again soon.  Communication was great and they kept me updated on the pick up status.  They were late picking up but I was fully informed and updated at all times.  Good customer service and trustworthy. .

   Long distance move to Florida.

   We contacted many companies for moving our belongings from Indiana to Florida and decided that since A Better Way Moving and Storage had not only excellent reviews but told us that they would pick up our belongings in a Semi ( we discussed the added cost if it did not fit in the street) and have it delivered to us in 4 to 5 days in the semi. I made it clear that we did not want our items moved and transported from truck to truck or stored - it was not the cost but our lives in their possession. The company arrived on time for pick up - they did not wrap anything in blankets or padding as to protect it. They loaded everything into a SMALL truck and took it back to Bloomington were we were told they weigh and let us know the final amount. They appeared to move quickly however, there were several times the lead left his clipboard for keeping the inventory somewhere in the home while he was doing other things. My house was empty and I signed the bill of lading - they were on their way. Later that day I got the call that they were storing our stuff ( we specifically requested that not happen) and we would not get it for another 10 days past the promised date. There was no communication from them until the day before the delivery ( which) was longer than they had told us at reservation time. The delivery was later than we were told that day but the driver did call - he showed up at the house with two local rented hired hands and brought the items into our home. The kitchen island had gotten wet (?) and two of the casters had fallen off and the bottom was warped. Now useless. There were water marks on the top of our bedroom dresser, there is a huge gouge of wood missing from our wooden trunk, our bookcases are scratched and look horrible. The hired hand said, "it looks like YOU got this wet." How? I looked through my boxes and said, there is stuff not here - the driver stated that they took in all that they had - he does not do inventory when they load the truck. REALLY!?! As I suspected, there were SEVEN missing boxes of items - containing items and belongings that are not replaceable due to the sentimental value of them. I contacted A Better Way Moving and let them know - boxes are missing - here is the lot number - this is unacceptable. This was ignored - there was no response from them at all. I sent a letter to them stating again, the damage and the loss - HELP. I would really like to get my stuff back. They did not respond. We were misled, disrespected, and left without. We are devastated by the loss, damage, destruction and overall poor customer service From A Better Way Moving. We have no idea how this could have happened - I asked them to provide me with the number of times our belongings were moved from spot to spot, where they were moved and who in the company made sure to check the inventory when this occurred. They have not provided us with that information. If you value your belongings don't use A Better Way Moving - there has got to be a better way.
