   Amazing move!

   I hired AB Pro for a rather large move for my boss. The move was a 5 bedroom home with very expensive furniture and paintings. The packers were really fast, efficient and friendly. The movers were professional, well equipped and diligent. Nothing broken or scratched. Everything arrived in perfect condition. The movers were very patient with my boss while placing and repositioning furniture multiple times. The estimate came in roughly 20% less than anticipated which is always a nice bonus. I have used several movinh companies in Calgary over the years and AB Pro Movers were the best. They greatly exceeded my expectations. Special thanks to Stephanie for organizing the move and Adam for managing.

   Calgary Move

   We had the pleasure of using Alberta Pro Movers for our last, and hopefully final move from Northwest Calgary to the Southwest. We had Tyler, Mike and Johnny on our move. They were all very pleasant and accomodating. We had them move our 900 lb piano and the just made it look so easy. They used floor runners to protect our floors and arapped each item in moving blankets prior to loading it on to thr truck. The final invoice came in nearly hal of whta we anticipated. We have since had Alberta Pro Movers move our sister in law's family and they had a similar experience. We would use the again and strongly encourage others to disregard the negative reviews. Some customers just cannot be pleased. Special thanks to Adam and Stephanie for coordinating our move and making the process seemless and really taking the stress out of moving day.

   Recently moved from Calgary to Edmonton and we are are so happy we chose Alberta Pro Movers. We have used several companies in Calgary and we can honestly say Alberta Pro are the best movers in Calgary we have ever used. They were on time, polite, professional and the final bill came in 300.00 under the quote we were given. Stephanie was great coordinating everything and the guys worked beyond our expectations refusing to stop for a break the whole time they were loading and unloading. No damage, under the quote, and punctual. What more could you ask from a moving company. Will definitely be using them in the future.

   Move from Lundbreck AB to Sylvan Lake AB Oct 3, 2021

   I talked to the owner, Adam, about our move initially. I explained that we were on an acreage and had a substantial shop to move in addition to our 3 bedroom house. He said that having lived on an acreage he knew what I was talking about. He gave me a quote which sounded pretty reasonable (around $8,000). The day of the move came and the packers were held up because of weather (understandable) could not complete the packing. Said they would be back the next day. They didn't show up but movers did and did some packing that day and the next. Movers are not great packers as we discovered. A move that was to take three days took five and ended up costing us $14,800. I tried calling Adam and wrote a letter to him but no response. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

   Household Move

   Do not use this company if you value your possessions! They did my move Jul/Aug 2021 (2 parts) and when the movers unloaded the truck, there were numerous items that sustained damages. I tried without success (emails, phone calls) to contact this company about the damages, but could not get a response from them. Even though the driver noted some of the damages on the documents and supposedly sent picture to them, they did not have the common curtesy to call back. Pictures shows their work!

   DO NOT HIRE!!!!!

   I hired them to move my home. The 2 movers were bickering with each other and both kept trying to engage me in their fights. WEIRD!!! While they were bickering, Stephen the driver backed the truck into my house and damaged my roof and eavestrough. I have tried to contact them by phone and email and they are now stonewalling me.

   Move

   Alberta pro movers were hired to move my furniture from Calgary to Kelowna. When the moving trucks door was opened it was appalling. Boxes were all over. The movers carelessly unpacked the furniture. Unfortunately I was unable to inspect the furniture at the time as I am a recent paraplegic and just returned home from the hospital. Nearly all my furniture was scratched or chipped. Screws and bolts to bed frames were missing. I noticed immediately my laquer dining room chairs were damaged due to rubbing together in the trip. I notified Adam the customer service /mover representative immediately. Stephanie the moving coordinator from Alberta Pro Movers apologized and asked me to send three quotes. To date and it's been over 2 months we have not heard anything back in spite of several emails and phone calls. Unfortunately I wish I would have looked at all their reviews and the complaints to the BBB as this is a trend with this company. I absolutely would not recommend them. Take the time to really look at everything before you hire them.

   Unprofessional and will not respond after move.

   Worst moving experience, after the move and submitting claims for damages to both goods and home I am unable to get any kind of reply from the manager. Working with the lady who arranged the move she claims to have submitted the claims including pictures of damages. They even admitted to breaking items! The crew consisted of 3 men one of which spent more time in the truck complaining of a toothache than doing any work. I followed up with the lady who arranged the move and she confirmed this worker did in fact miss the next work day and attended a dental appointment, there was no offer to compensate me for his charge time. My wife and I spent a lot of time marking boxes to which room they were to be delivered and even marked the rooms at the house, however after they left we found numerous boxes put into the basement instead of the marked rooms, just to lazy to walk up stairs. This was a brand new house which the day earlier we had done our pre inspection, when discussing damages to the house it was implied these damages could have been done before the move. The manager will not contact me after numerous e - mails. It appears that the only way to deal with them is through the court system. I would be leary of using this company.

    Dishonest and Unprofessional company February 2020.

    Probably one of the most dishonest moving companies we've dealt with. Had a Fairley quick and short move (9 KM ) and they managed to do almost $6,000 worth of damage including the theft of 3 out of 4 of our passports. Apart from that his final price exceeded his quote by almost 100%, including overcharging us for boxes (apparently he thought we weren't able to count) Everybody who shows up on your front door are random people who are hired from a facebook group (this is how they hire people - they're not employees they're random contractors) The man who 'owns' the company will use phrases such as 'don't worry, we have insurance' over and over again. When you ask what the insurance policy is, he will tell you not to worry because he will 'make you whole'. He presented a contract that he failed to mention had only on the customer copy fine print on the back. They essentially have no insurance. If they break your stuff, oh well. He actually had the audacity to send me a text at the end of the move after we paid him ' people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones'. We are currently filing a lawsuit against this company. Oh and disregard the positive reviews, they're all people who work with him. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions. Stay away from this company at all costs if you plan on keeping your items.
