   Allstate moving company.

   The Movers were prompt and Courteous. They were focused on getting it done quickly. They carefully packed my household furniture and wrapped it for protection and did a great job packing the truck. I'm amazed how they skillfully packed it. At one point I was worried my things wouldn't fit but they managed. Their office personnel were professional and courteous and their prices were much better than some of the higher quotes I received. I would recommend this moving company and will definitely use them again.

   Communication Issues.

   We picked this company because they based the move on weight. The sales person miscalucated the amount of weight we had in the house but our QA  person added weight and we seemed to be ok. We had a few weeks to adjunst our budget for the increased amount. The day of the pick-up the truck driver called and said he would be there at 8 am. At 10 am he called and said that it wouldn't be till 12 PM. At 12:30 when he showed up, he said he would need a shuttle, but because the job would take 10 hours he couldn't start till the next day and he said he would be back at 8 AM to pick up everything (The shuttle cost $750 more). He to the house at noon, handed another contact for $13,000 which is $5000 more than he second estimate. We finally talked to the manager of both the vanline as well as the trucking company and said we only wanted what was on the list. SO the truck driver counted everything as pieces. Our bed (paid extra for because it is large) counted as 4 pieces, we had three of those. Finally when it came to the boxes, he said we didn't have enough left in his count to take our cloth boxes. He wouldn't take any of our other items on the list and basically left. We have the house packed and he other half still in the house. We also learned that everything had to be boxed, such as, your washer, your broom and your sofa.   Although this is our first time using a moving company, I would suggest you find another company to move your items. They do not communicate with the trucking company or the trucker. The trucker ultimately makes the decision and if you object and show them what is contacted they stop moving your stuff. It has been a compete mess and I'm hoping to never deal with this company again, I suggest if you are thinking about using this company you find another company with better communication skills with their drivers.

   AGREE with LIES LIES LIES

   they are NOT a moving company but a broker. Once you sign the contract, there is ZERO customer service. Once your stuff is loaded in the truck, they will jack the price by thousands!!! If you have damaged or missing goods, kiss them goodbye -- they won't return a phone call. DO NOT USE THEM!

   No coomunication.

   The company is very poor, next to nothing about communicating after I made the deposit, my 120 days is up and they decided to give me 30 more days, that not what the contract says.  I have called three times to the supervisor without any call back.  I would not recommend this company to anyone.  they dropped my dining room table off of the truck, not even i'm sorry or an apology  .
