   Tremendous company

   We had an emergency and needed to have somebody move us within one weeks notice. Not only did AM and PM. complete the move, but they were extremely dedicated and careful to make sure that we had the best moving experience possible. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

   Am&Pm movers are The BEST. They came In a Snow Storm They were unexpectedly early. They were pleasant, efficient and caring. I had two pick up locations and a final destination. They also offered help to assemble some furniture. I would rate them a 5plus plus. Super Stars. Thank you.

   The best movers I’ve used in IL! They are punctual, professional, courteous, and communicative. They came ready to roll with all tools and other necessary items for an easy and professional move of heavy items. They were incredibly careful and responsible with the heavy and precious furniture pieces. They are seriously the best in Chicago!!

   This is a moving company that doesn't move everything. I lived and learned. I dont know how they have 5 stars. 900sqft apartment and half a garage. Punctuality - 4 stars Organization - 2 stars (pick up time changing/didn't load efficiently) Politeness - 1 star (arguing with customer) Professionalism - 1 star Cost - 3 stars (you get what you pay for) 900sqft apartment and half a garage My rant: They asked my wife to help and I also felt I had to help since there was no organization. I sent pictures of everything that needed to be moved then they argued saying they didn't see stuff in the pictures. It took two days to move my apartment and they never finished. They kept asking what else needs to be moved and didn't understand when I said everything since we are moving. On day two of the move, they didn't load everything because they didn't load their truck correctly and they said they wouldn't come back so I had to pick it up myself even though their truck was loaded by 11:30am. They only take cash even though I told them I'm paying with a company card and argued that I never told them. They quoted me a price using pictures they requested then charged me a little extra because we had 3rd story apartment. They said they cant mover everything with the original price and asked if I thought the price was fair. They wanted to get paid half for the first day even though they were coming back the next day. The pickup time was never certain and changed multiple times which threw off our schedule. After having a talk with a coworker that owned a moving company, I found out AM & PM moving is not a professional company. Just a guy with a truck and moving blankets.

   AMPM operates under a few different names. Easy Moving, United Relocation moving, and AMPM. I had hired a broker to find a mover for me with the assurance they would take credit card only so we would not run into hassles with payment being we were moving over a holiday weekend. They took the first payment of my move (probably knowing they were going to jack the price up) by card but ran my card multiple times where we had to find a second card to pay for the first part of the move. When they arrived we had been given a contract price of $1200 to pack up our items. Well we were then told this was only the beginning and it would go up based on what they packed up, problem is we had a contract with our broker and even on the form I signed he states "$1200 +if HR Steve) who is the broker through excalibur moving group. This gave the impression we were only paying 1200. They arrived with a truck that was 3/4 full to start packing and complained we had too much based on the bid we were provided. when they came back the next day they arrived with a uhaul truck that was too small and had to leave many of our things in KC. If he would have rented a larger Uhaul they would have all fit but he indicated there were none available, problem was if you looked them up there were many available in KC. Now When they left I had asked for weight tickets, the ones provided were from May 22 (our move was on the 24/25). the ticket was 3 hours away and under a different company name. How are we to know they didn't have less weight on the truck just to add more after the left considering right before they arrived at my house he indicated he was going to weight the truck through text message? Lastly, when he arrived to AL he told me I had to pay in Money orders and he initially asked for it to be paid to someone named Edis Secic. Well his name is Alex and he was supposedly the owner of the company so why would I make the money orders out to someone else? I made them out to the company anyway. Not only that but he told me I had to pay an additional 3159 in packing costs some of which were picture boxes for 40 dollars each. Their picture cartons were medium boxes taped at the bottom, pictures slid in, and closed. So we paid 39.50 for 2 min worth of work and they were all banged up. I understand by contract we were supposed to pay for more weight but not the extra packaging. Additionally, he finds it ok to scream at his customers and tell them its their fault when they make mistakes. Everything about this company is shady and they force you to pay more than you were supposed to, to get your belongings back. They broke the law when we didn’t get our inventory and forced us to pay money for items we weren’t supposed to, just to get our things.
