   This is the third time that I have used Ben Hur Moving, and they will continue to be the go-to moving company for me. First of all, the online estimate was exceptionally good and were the rates I ended up paying. There were no surprise charges tacked on later. On each occasion the movers were not just on time, but early. And the movers were friendly, helpful, courteous, efficient and professional. Finally, all the furnishings were wrapped and protected well and were delivered without any damage. I will definitely use them again and have recommended them to a number of family members and friends.

   Ben Hur- Beware.

   This has been one of the worst experiences I have had in years.       They broke a globe in my home. They did not reimburse the loss until I threatened to sue them multiple times.       They stored my furniture only to charge me 20% more to re-deliver to the place they initially took possession. They insultingly refused to deliver the furniture unless I paid $400 cash in advance for the delivery.       When the furniture was returned, they broke a leg on a couch. The repairman failed to appear on the scheduled date without prior notice to us. We waited more than ½ day for him to keep his appointment. He had to return twice to fix the broken leg. They obviously have no regard for our time.       Before the furniture was returned to my home, I had added (new) furniture delivered to them for storage in the interim. They charged $598 to deliver the furniture to my NY office; a mere four pieces. Simply outrageous. When they returned the furniture to my office, they failed to deliver ½ the furniture. When they returned the next business day to deliver the remaining furniture, the delivery persons snarled that it was not their obligation to unpack one chair and remove the plastic from one sofa.       I am amazed they are in business.         .

   Stay away from this company and they thief workers.

   This is for anyone that cares for their belongings, please DO NOT use this company that hires workers that steal and do not know how to wrap furnitures and office equipments. Their workers stole my clothes , my big screen tv , shoes, DVDs, Workout equipments, office electronics, my NFL favorite team's many expensive jerseys, even my job tools, they stole and on top of that they broke most of my furnitures(wall units, bed, tables, kitchen stuff, etc.. and company did not take any actions against their workers and those thieves steal working for them. they actually did my moving which was suppose to be completed in 1 day took them 2 days. After packing my belongings in the their truck, the driver told me that it was too late to go drop off my belongings to the storage. so they took my belongings packed in their truck back to their office  that is where they picked and choosed whatever they wanted from my belongings. So please STAY AWAY from this moving company. They are crooks. on top of their thieves workers, they actually get you a qauote then overcharge you before unloading your belongings and they are very rude about it too. Just thought I be THE ONLY victim of this moving company. Thank you.

   WARNING!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are LIARS and INCOMPETENT. I called Ben Hur moving a week before our move and they were able to give me a quick quote. I asked on multiple occasions if they had enough insurance to qualify because my building had a strict insurance policy requirement. The salesman on the phone promised me that they had over 10M in coverage and that it would not be a problem. The next day I followed up with my building to see if they received the certificate of insurance from Ben Hur and was upset to hear Ben Hur had not sent the COI. I called Ben Hur only to be passed around to various people who told me I would need to speak to someone else. Finally, I got in touch with the person in charge of insurance who promised to send the COI. The next day I received a call from my building manager who informed me that Ben Hur did not meet the minimum insurance requirement. I called Ben Hur again and got the run around once more. I was sent to 3 different voicemails and even got hung up on twice. When I eventually got through to the guy who handles insurance once more he swore it was impossible that they didn't have enough coverage and that it had to be a misunderstanding. He promised me he would call the building manager to clear up the situation and call me back. I never got a call back. I left multiple voicemails and emails but no reply. Finally, on Friday afternoon a day before my move date after numerous calls and speaking to 3-4 different people at Ben Hur, I finally got through to the person who handles insurance and finally got him to admit they did not have the coverage they promised they had and so they would not be able to move me into my building. Not only did they completely LIE, but rather than admit it right away and allow me time to find a new mover they LIED again and told me it was not a problem and they could clear it up. They never followed up with my emails or voicemails after a number of different people promised to resolve the issue for me. These guys left me hanging and just didn't give a crap.
