   I used this company to move during a snow storm!! They were prompt proffessional and had strong work ethics. I would use them again based on their work ethics and attitudes.

   The quotes kept going up once we were on the hook.  The final price was doubled when the job was done.  Sheldon and Frank said costs were determined by cubic feet.  And then when the movers came the price went up because they said it couldn't be stacked therefore more cubic feet than quote was based on.  Fun y when it arrived on the delivery truck..it was stacked and took up very little room! also two of the men who came to pack us left to take a side job which they received cash for doing. overall I believe this company uses underhanded techniques.  You are stuck with them and there charges once your move begins. funny how no one contacted us to see how the move went.  .

   Worst Experience EVER!!

   Is this company even in business anymore? Website returns a URL error. Emails to generic and personal email boxes get returned as undeliverable. All calls go to voice mail and no one calls back. Bait at switch on pick up day. Couldn't fit everything in they truck they promised. Had to wait for them to come with a second truck then next day. Finally got a delivery day scheduled. 10am. After 3 promises to be there within 2 hours, I called at 6pm and asked to hold off until the next day. (took the whole day off work for that). the next day they show up at 5pm and only one mattress was in the truck. I left them the lock to my storage unit so they could start without me the next morning. I told them to call me when they got there. They called me at 11 and told me there were almost done. By the time I got there everything was loaded in the storage unit. I had no way of knowing what was unloaded and what wasn't. There was some obvious damage right off. Now that we have everything moved in and unpacked, I'm ready to file a claim. The company on my paperwork says they don't handle claims for BestRate any more. WHAT?? And now I can't get a hold of the company..

   Help..has anyone ever settled a claim?

   Damages, lost, late, overcharged. I put a dispute on my credit card, and then they said that as per the contract I could not settle any claims with a dispute. So, I removed the dispute..the crooks got the money. Then referred me to csipro.org to settle the claim. I jumped through lots of hoops filing the claim. Then that company took six months..telling me they were "back-logged." At the end of that time they simply said that BestRate had decided to handle my claim "in house." Of course that means that BestRate will not answer my calls or Facebook or emails. I have zero contact information other than the websites. My email contacts all bounce back. They must change them or something since even the BBB email bounces back. Any ideas out there? These people are ruthless.

   Never delivered.

   I hired this company on 9/2/2015 picked up my belongings, they were supposed to deliver them a month after. It is now Nov. 23 and I have yet to receive my belongings. I am uncertain at this point whether they even have my stuff with them anymore. I've tried contacting them several times, they don't even pick up the phone anymore much less giving me a delivery date. Not only did they overcharged me at the time of delivery when they picked up my furniture, but I find myself regretting they ever did. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I MADE. Please do not hire this company. Best rate movers is the worst.

   Worst moving experience ever.

   Best Rate offered a promotion of 5 free boxes..The movers came and said they were not aware of the promotion. So no free boxes as promised. This was only the beginning of a BAD EXPERIENCE with this company.  The movers were consistently asking to go to the bathroom in my home. Which I have no problem with, however each one 4 total continued to visit the bathroom within minutes apart.  They not only were late, I was over charged. The price changed. Called the office and the office recitified the problem to orinigal. that was good, however, they made up for the additional charges upon delievery. I was not present (in another state) was charged 800.00 additional fees. To say I had a bad experience is putting it mild.. I would NEVER reccommend this company. TOTAL RIP OFF.
