   Efficient Move

   Past a week, I moved across the city and was so impressed by Buhler's Moving efficiency and professionalism. They packed up my entire apartment in no time, taking extra care with fragile items like glassware and artwork. What really stood out was how organized and communicative they were throughout the process. I was nervous about the tight schedule, but they delivered everything on time, and nothing was damaged. I’d definitely use their service again!

   Mr Buhler

   I previously met Mr Buhler through my line of work- Once I found out he owned/operated a moving company, I hired him for the following month back in August, to assist me with moving me and my three sons. Ron was nothing other than accommodating in making sure that everything was as smooth as possible for me in that stressful time I encountered. Sometimes its about more than hiring a company it’s the building of a professional relation and mutual respect.

   Priced Right!

   My husband and I used Buhler's moving for our recent move. I had called a lot of companies for quotes, and was pleased that Ron's receptionist was so polite and respectful (not annoyingly aggressive like some other companies..). She was enjoyable to chat with, and to trust to organize our movers. She listened to my concerns about our allergies (our son is deathly allergic to peanuts, so I needed reassurance staff would not be eating peanut products that day). Ron came and gave his written estimate, and compared to the other companies, his quote couldn't be beat. Moving day came and I wasn't quite finished preparing, we ended up needing a second day to finish the move. Ron was extremely generous with his crew and time, and kept us first priority. Ron didn't schedule our unexpected second day like other moving companies - at the end of another job. My husband and I truly appreciated this! His crew worked hard without lunchbreaks (but they did eat brownies, cookies and gummy bears that our kids offered them). I was so pleased with how his staff treated our kids and was respectful of our allergies, so we made up goody bags with cookies, gummy bears, thank you cards and Tim Hortons gift cards for all the guys, and of course Ron deserved a goody bag too! We couldn't have moved successfully without their help, and they all worked so hard! Ron has a wide variety of staff young and old, and we were blessed with ours! HOW TO MAKE MOVING SUCCESSFUL (learning from my mistakes).. Please realize moving isn't easy or clean lol! It's ok! 1) be prepared! use medium and large boxes only (small are too much work), a lot of paper, and tape and seal boxes completely to keep dust etc out. label your boxes so movers know what room to put them in. 2) cover all your furniture- mattresses, couches etc.. (using dollar store mattress bags) and tape to seal. This protects your furniture from dust etc . also label furniture so movers know what room to put items in. 3) communicate to your movers - for example, they have carpet runners if it is a rainy or snowy day, to help protect your floors. Just ask them to use it! but also realize, the floors will still get dirty, and all messes can be cleaned so don't stress. I got a great carpet shampoo machine at Costco, and our floors look brand new after moving in ugly weather!

   Great job.

   I hired Buhlers, had a great experience start to finish. The movers were polite and pretty fast, disassembled and reassembled my bed, put boxes it the labeled rooms.

   Local move within Alberta 5 stars for Warren + Donovan who showed up on time, delivered Herculian effort from morning to late afternoon non-stop. They were super careful with all items big and small (with zero complaints about a few 'heavy, awkward' pieces). The fragile items were carefully wrapped and they had no issue trouble shooting stairs and corners (or elevators!)..all with good humour. Zero complaints. Full endorsement. Thank you!!

   Move from Edmonton to Vancouver Coast.

   I was very reluctant to use a smaller moving firm as there are so many horror stories. I found Ron Buhler very easy to work with, and he was very good at getting back to us with questions we had. I brought to his attention all the negative reviews of his and other companies. He made the point he wouldn't be in business for this long if all the moves were as bad as people would say. Most people don't write positive reviews, too busy moving in. And there are always two sides. We decided to go with Buhlers Moving. We talked directly with the mover and we agreed on a flat price as we couldn't afford "surprises". I think that when getting quotes, you must be as accurate about the move as possible. The move went well, although WE messed up with the key, the weather was horrible and of course those dam ferries. The movers were very professional and fast. They helped set things up for their elderly customer. Two damaged items where brought to our attention, but the damage was not caused by the movers but were in that state. Thought it was very professional for them to draw attention to it, instead of simply dropping it off in a back room. I would recommend this company for a move. We could have been charged extra because of mistakes we made, but Ron Buhler stuck to his word and only took the agreed price. This move was late, but Ron kept us informed. The weather was very dangerous, and I am not going to get negative because the moving company did the right thing. I would take late over crashed and ruined any day. Pat Gordon.

   Moving and Storage.

   Very pleased with the movers. We moved out of our home mid Dec and the guys busted their butts moving our stuff. They were very respectful of our home so no wall damage. They laid down runners on the floor prior to moving. Once our new condo was finally ready for occupancy, the movers (Warren and John) did a great job of unloading our furniture and belongings. We had the boxes marked where we wanted things to go and they put them in the appropriate rooms. They set up our bed at my request. The guys were quick and efficient. I originally contacted Ron in Nov. I found the best way to communicate with him was via text. Ron was accommodating with our needs. Our furniture was placed in storage although I was somewhat taken back when I discovered our goods stored in a locked trailer instead of a secure compound. The office staff can appear to be disorganized at times. When I called to set up our second move date, I was informed that I owed for a couple months storage fees. I informed the office that I didn't owe back fees and had the e-transfers to prove it. Other than confirming the move a couple of extra times, I was pleased with the service we received. I would consider Buhlers Moving again. We paid a flat fee instead of hourly.

   Late and slow complainers

   They arrived almost 2 hours late then on the drive to my new place they asked to follow me because one of the guys lost his phone and the other guys phone was dead (they both called me before because they were trying to find my place due to the secretary writing my address down wrong). Then when we finally got to my new place (after half hour drive that should have taken 15 mins) all they did was complain how fast I went the whole time (I was trying to go the speed limit but they kept falling far behind). On top of all that, the truck they brought was a small piece of crap truck that wouldn't have fit all my stuff in so if I had everything ready and wanted to move everything it would have added another hour and a half to the move because we would have had to do another trip because there was no more room in the truck with the stuff they had already packed, making a 1 bedroom plus den move a 4.5 hour move. Worst moving experience ever. I will never hire them again and DO NOT recommend them!

    My entire moving process with this company was horrible. Communication was horrible. It was supposed to start at 9am and ended with my family and I unloading the trailer at 7:30pm... Don't use this company
