   We recently moved from Halifax, Nova Scotia to Maple Ridge, British Columbia. We are lucky to have hired the Burgess Transfer (United Van Lines) to do the long distance moving. The services we received are professional, honest and responsible. Mr. Graham Burgess gave us many useful advices in our preparations and packing. We were given plenty free boxes, wrapping papers and other materials. The teams of movers at both ends did good jobs. They are professional, easy to deal with, and very thoughtful in accommodating our needs. In order to get my desk into the office through an irregular door, Mr. Eric Beers completely disassembled the furniture, and then reassembled it. All the pieces of the furnitures are properly wrapped and safely arrived. The shipment was properly scheduled and delivered on time. We are very pleasured with our experiences. I would recommend the company to my friends without any hesitation.

   After checking so many companies, and comparing reviews and pricing, I think I was blessed enough to get Burgess Transfer (United Van Lines) do the move for me from Halifax to Ottawa. They are professional, easy to deal with, honest, responsive. They did everything as exactly described, and they surpassed my expectations in every single aspect. They did not lose or break any item; as a matter of fact I was given plenty of free cardboard boxes, wrapping paper and material for no additional price. They also brought their own wrapping material as every single piece of furniture was wrapped properly and arrived safe and with not a single scratch. The pricing and delivery timelines were even better than expected. I could never thank these guys more and will not hesitate to recommend them without any single hesitation.

   Highway Robery.

   Avoid this company if you are moving long distance. I hired them to move from NS to AB. Not only were they late for delivery, they charge extra for delivery, which was not on the original bill and was not brought to my attention. And refuse to deliver if the extra was not paid. If this was not HIGHTWAY ROBERY, I don't know what is. Their service department was terrible to speak with. Snoody attitude, and cares only about collecting money. AVOIDE it, you are saving yourself.
