   Excellent Crating Service and Shipping.

   I was in the military in Puerto Rico and when I transferred, I left  enormous Caribou antlers with a friend in San Juan.  I had shot the Caribou when I was stationed in Alaska years ago, and wanted the piece back.  I had used Capitol Transportation for my household goods move from San Juan to Germany, but I didn't at first think of them for a single piece move.  I was in San Juan on business and on my free time I tried to find someone to ship the piece for me to North Carolina.  Finally, very nice people at a UPS Store referred me to Capitol Transportation.  I went to Capitol Transportation and was met by Ms. Erika Del Valle.  She was extremely helpful and honest and gave me several quotes crating and shipping the piece that best fit my budget.  As I was working, I could not stay long, but did see skilled employees measure my piece.  When the piece arrived to North Carolina, I was astounded by the creativity of the crating!  It was very secure and there was no way it was going to move or be damaged in shipping.  I am very thankful to Capitol Transportation for the piece arriving in excellent condition and now it is placed over the fireplace.

   Muy buena atención. La recomiendo 100%. Desde el comienzo el trato fue excelente. Te ayudan y explican todos los pasos a seguir y le dan seguimiento. No importa a donde te mudes, la mejor opción es Capitol Transportarion. Te hacen entrega de puerta a puerta. Hacen todos los arreglos necesario para que tus pertenencias lleguen bien a su destino.

   Be Ware.

   My experience with this company was terrible. First, they were a day late for the pack out. They were to arrive on a Wednesday at 9am but they called me Wednesday at 9am to say they could not make it until Thursday. I had already arranged my schedule to be present on Wednesday for the move so it was tough to reschedule at the last minute. Then, about $10K of jewelry went missing. I had forgotten about the items in my jewelry box and when it arrived in IL, they were missing but everything else of no value was there. The box was not tampered with in transit. In addition, we had severe damages to our stuff the was not dismantled or packed properly. The packing tea had to be aware of the fact that they broke our bed frame while taking it apart because the damage to every piece was severve to the point that the bed cannot be repaired.    I would not recommend this company. If you do use them, be warned. .

   I'm glad this company is no longer providing services. Their customer service and attention to detail is so poor I will give them 0 stars. Don't use their services!

   Please, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, they can't be trusted. In our case, they sent our move to other state, but we ended up paying more than the agreed upon price.They don't stick to their word, especially Richard O. Darmanin. He verbally and in black and white confirmed a discount for the problems and complications, after more than a month trying to reach him and obviously after we left PR, he, on his own, pull back and cancelled the price adjustment. PLEASE DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. Por favor, NO USEN ESTA EMPRESA, no le van a cumplir. En nuestro caso, nos enviaron la mudanza a otro estado, terminamos pagando mas. No cumplen su palabra, especialmente su proprietario, Richard O. Darmanin. Se comprometio por escrito a un ajuste en el precio, luego que nos fuimos de PR, lo cancelo arbitrariamente. NO USEN ESTA EMPRESA.

   Never again.

   They are horrible. Stay away from this moving company. I moved from PR to NY recently and I paid for my moving company and finally I received my stuff late. I called them over and over and avoided my calls telling excuses. When dealing with this guys be extremely careful. They do not care about your needs nor about your stuff. Never again.
