   Excellent movers!

   Long Island Movers AKA Cargo Taxi Two guys arrived on time (actually early) with a truck for my move. They were strong and very quick. They handled all of my items with care and were considerate of my floor and walls (even in the rain) Move took exactly quoted time and quoted cost. Lowest prices around-- and I did toms of research. It was orth every penny and more!

   Changed my reservation without informing me.

   If I could give 0 stars I would. I confirmed a 3pm move on Monday. On Wednesday I get a text at 11:25am that morning saying “driver is on the way” I told him that I was not at home as I planned my work day around his confirmation. He just said someone canceled on him at 12 and that he isn’t available at 3. The move had to be now. Then refused to help or work with me on a new time. I have no idea how a moving company can stay in business if they do not know how to keep a schedule. NEVER USE THIS SERVICE.

   No Show, Missing Items.

   If I could give them zero stars I would. Although very reponsive via email to ge the client/job after that it is ALL down hill. This guy sasha showed up wiith my items from ikea asked for the money and ran out. he stated he was parked at a hydrant and would not cross walk the items with the receipt. Once he left I found out the main peice/box for the tv console was missing. I called and emailed many times before receiving a reponse. Via email the next day I was told he would go back and come put it together for $60 between 2pm and 3pm. I said oK/ HE NEVER SHOWED UP NEVER CALLED the next day. Two days wasted and my project not complete. His boss finally emailed me to say "sasha reported the item was out of stock and he doesn't work tomorrow, we can not go back due to gas costs and tolls".
