   Fantastic experience

   We used Carmel for a recent move out of state. Our moving team was amazing and everything went smoothly. They were professional, fast and careful with our belongings. They wrapped all of our furniture for us and moved it without any damage. I highly recommend using this company for your move!

   Price Gouging

   This move was from the storage unit Carmel moved us into three months ago into our new home. I made an error reading the date on the contract and the move in date was two weeks later than I planned. I did not realize this until the day before what I thought was the move date. Ivan informed me he could accommodate the move for the next day and not in two weeks that was booked. I was delighted and thankful...and then furious. Ivan then told me the hourly rate would be an additional $25 per hour. He knew he had me, I knew he had me, and I agreed. There was already a $100 per hour price increase compared to the prior contract from three months ago. Ivan explained this was because it is the busy season / supply and demand. This move was on a weekday not over the weekend. Ivan ceased the opportunity to take advantage of our situation. The move price increased by $1300 in three months!!! To add insult to injury this was the fourth move he did for us, and certainly the last!
