   Great Team.

   What a great service! Mary in the office is so efficient and does what she says she'll do! The removal men arrived on time and worked efficiently and carefully. Our belongings were being delivered to four different locations and everything went like clockwork! Would definitely recommend!

   Not what we expected from the reviews

   Having seen the glowing reviews for Curries we hired them to move us from our 3 bed house to a 1 bed flat in Glasgow’s West End. To say we were disappointed, is an under statement. We have a lot of experience moving as we’ve done it nine times in the last 12 years. This was the worst of those moves. Only 2 men showed up to move us, which appeared straight away to be not enough for the amount we had to move. Even though Mr. Currie had said he would check our move location to see what the parking situation was , the driver seemed totally unaware of the issues in the area when he got there. Naturally in the West End he couldn’t park in front of the tenement door, so had to park 50 yards away. This was when it was even more apparent that 2 men wee not enough. We were asked to help move items, even though they were paid to do it. My partner and I both have back issues, nevertheless had to help. When the move was finally over, we found damage to our plants because they hadn’t been adequately protected, some near totally killed, never before have we experienced a mover not covering mattresses. Damage to our expensive dresser, damage to our mattress cover, a large picture frame was damaged and the mattress hadn’t been protected. Our claim for compensation was initially rejected, then reluctantly we were offered £100 for damage amounting to hundreds, when we rejected that, eventually they agreed to pay £180, which we reluctantly agreed to simply to get on with our new lives. The move was in May and now in August we’re still trying to work out how to repair some of the damage done in the move. It’s amazing to us now how there are so many 5 star Reviews, when our experience was absolutely dreadful and 1 Star.
