   Very Good Experience.

   Moving sucks and a lot of movers make it worse. These guys honestly do an incredible job and have a great attitude doing it! I used them twice now and have had a very good experience BOTH times. They show up on time, call you ahead of time, the window during which they come is small so you know when to be ready. They are also very reasonably priced. I just moved again last Friday and they did a fabulous job wrapping all of my furniture, moving my giant couch that didn't fit in the elevator up three flights of stairs (!!) and still were a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this moving company and would use them again anytime :).

   Hi u all , I move whit David and Goliath from D.C. To FL I did move few time before and I have to say that experience was not quite joyful as that time white david and Goliath from start to finish they mover did an excellent job can on my pick up day and I did receive my items on te day I needed. Just want to say thank and please keep up with the good work.

   Damage/lost property.

   Damaged/lost $935 of our property. Pick up/packing people did a good job. The character who delivered the property was alone. We were told 2 people were to deliver our property. Truck was old and beat. Driver spoke limited English (possibly Iraqi). He was most interested in getting the property and getting his money. Fortunately, they are now out of business.

   Highly Suspicious Business.

   David and Goliath were subcontractors of Pan American movers. I would have to write a book to disclose all the problems and possible criminal activity that occurred during my experience. Needless to say, if you value your sanity, money, time, and personal possessions and property take every negative review as gospel. Coercion, hostage of property, and careless regard for everything is standard. My problems were only resolved by contacting a US attorney with a federal agency. Property was delivered damaged, moldy, wet, infested with ants, and some items were never delivered. The pick up driver tried to sell me used boxes by telling me he was giving me a discount if I left it off the invoice. STAY AWAY!!

   Stolen money and items.

   These people are crooks!! They stole anything of value from me. Kept demanding more and more money. I am have filed criminal charges and will be handling most of this through my home owners insurance and attorney. I will not stop until I am fully reimbursed for my losses. They took well over 25,000.00 in items from my home. The boxes were taped so heavily it was obvious they had opened and re-taped them. Furniture damaged. Broken tv screens. It’s unreal what they did. I thought I was hiring coast to coast. Had no idea they were a broker. That’s ok though Eli :) stripes will look great on you. These charges will be felony. And I’m not stopping until you pay for what you’ve done to me.

   Scam artists, liars, thieves.

   If I could give zero stars I would. My items were picked up on July 30, a day late, and we were charged an additional $150 due to stairs ( contract violation #1). We were not given weight tickets (federal law violation) My items were delivered 3 days late and we were charged an additional $387.87 stating that we were overweight (contract violation #2). 27 of our items were missing, including many brand new items and several irreplaceable items. On September 15 a second shipment was delivered after we paid an additonal $200 (contract violation #3) Only 13 of our missing items were delivered that day, and several were broken. One box was not a box that we packed, but our belongings were inside so they apparently went through our belongings. We are still waiting for 14 items, copies of weight tickets that have never been provided despite repeated requests, and a refund for the extra that we were charged in violation of their contract. They now refuse to answer the phone when I call. I have left several messages and do not get a return call. The only time I am able to get through is if I call from a different phone and then I am placed on hold for an eternity, until the call is disconnected.

   Terrible service.

   Avoid this company at all costs. After loading all your things they (a manager named Eli) will try to charge you more based off of something that you did not agree to with your contract (I went through APT moving). There also seems to be a lack of communication between management and the movers. I was told pick up would be on one day and they arrived the next. Delivery info was relayed day of & the movers showed up at 1 am. I'm also still waiting for my bike to be fixed even after repeatedly calling.

   Scam.

   This company is a complete SCAM. I wish I could leave zero stars We signed a contract for a certain price. When the delivery driver arrived, there were hand written notes on the side of a contract with a different price. The driver refused to remove the items from the van without payment $1,000 higher than the original contract price - in cash. I called the police department and they were well aware of this company. Stay away whatever you do - you will either never see your stuff again or have to pay extra to see it.

    This is the WORST company I have ever done business with - DO NOT HIRE.

    PLEASE READ THIS FEEDBACK THOUROUGHLY AND STAY AWAY FROM EZ MOVING VAN LINES AND DAVID & GOLIATH MOVING!! THEY are both Scam artists and will lie and misrepresent what they tell you to get your business and then scam you out of more money later. Here’s my awful experience so read carefully so you know exactly what they do and hopefully you can avoid the same miserable mistake I had. On your first call, you will discuss with them what articles you have to establish how many pieces are being moved. THEIR computer will assign their own WEIGHTS to each of these articles, which in almost EVERY case, my actual weight (as I weighed each item myself) was MUCH less than their OVER INFLATED weights. They then give you your first estimate, based on the weight THEY calculate at a price per LB. In my case I had an estimate based on up to 2000 LBs (which was a minimum move) and price of $.58 per LB. I asked the logical question, what if I go over the weight and was told in a very deceptive manner that you only pay the price per LB for any weight over your estimate. Since my estimate was for 2000 LBS, I asked numerous times to be clear if I went over 100 LBS then at $.58 per LB my extra charge would be $58 more dollars…correct? They will say YES and tell you NOTHING on anything else. So at that point if I missed or forgot some articles OR may have a few extra boxes that I didn’t give in the original count since I wasn’t completely done packing, it’s not a big deal because they specifically tell you it’s based on WEIGHT and not #of pieces. As long as I stay UNDER the 2000 LBS, my original estimate should be good. This is where the SCAM comes in and they will CHEAT you out of extra money. Once you are within a few days for the actual moving company to pick up everything (which by the way EZ is a broker I believe and use various OTHER moving companies to do the work) a quality assurance person will call you to go over your final list of articles. Pay close attention here. In my case, I started with 44 articles and changed it to 46 total articles…so only 2 more pieces. Now the nature of the articles changed, so as an example, I removed several wall décor pieces (like 10 pcs I originally gave) down to 0 because they were small and I could get into a box. They originally calculated these 10 pcs to be 210 LBS when they actually weighed 28 LBS total…this is how much EZ overinflates items in many cases. I then added more boxes, a couch, and a few more things but again my total pc count was only 2 pcs more from estimate and they tell you it’s strictly based on weight. There is NO WAY for you to know exactly what you have until all is packed so they work their scam to put you at ease in saying just give me what you know up front, we give you initial estimate, and if you go over we only look at weight. Boy is this far from the truth. When the quality assurance guy goes over your final list, you now specifically tell him what you got and they will then RECALCULATE your estimate based on their OVER INFLATED WEIGHTS and start hitting you for more money….up front. In my case, I only added 2 more articles BUT because the nature of the items changed, they now recalculated my total weight to 2622….an extra 622 LBS…..are you kidding me?? So then you’re thinking, ok at an extra 622 lbs if legit that should be an extra $360.76 (622 x $.58 per lb) I’ll have to pay even though I still believe I am UNDER the original 2000 LBS and my first estimate. Guess what….here’s their awful scam….because THEY now calculate an overinflated second estimate….they require you to pay more upfront money on the deposit even though they have no idea what the actual weight is and is now basing it on THEIR overinflated NEW calculations. And here’s the kicker….if I truly did go over the 622 lbs, my thinking is I will have an extra $360.76 to pay wasn’t correct. They scam you with all these other administrative charges and fuel surcharge fees that my actual second estimate went up by $693.23 and this was with them giving me $200 off for complaining so much. So the price per LB is misleading because they fail to tell you they will con you out of extra fees on top of this…..very poor and misleading business tactics. At this point I’ve already given my first deposit of $589 on my first estimate and now they want another $360.76 for the second estimate and I ask them specifically and repeatedly, if I am still under the original 2000 lbs…will my original contract be valid and I get the $360.76 extra deposit back….they tell me yes. I’m forced to pay the extra deposit if I want to proceed. The other thing is you are required to pay the moving company ½ of the remaining balance at pick up with the other ½ at time of delivery. Now that you have a NEW second estimate, you have a larger balance left (even though this is strictly based on the overinflated estimate) and will require you to pay more to the movers until they weigh the truck. Again with reassurances from EZ quality assurance guy I will get the extra money refunded back to me if I’m under 2000 lbs. Well movers come and low and behold, they never weighed the truck before they came SO I made them go back to weigh station to get the certified weight to start. How are they going to know what my weight is without this? Very shady and now giving me all kinds of red flags that this is not right. Once completely loaded I follow the moving truck back to the weigh station to get my final certified weight and my entire shipment was 1940 lbs and 60 LBS under the original 2000 LB estimate. Now the fun begins as I call EZ to tell them and to try and get my refund. Guess what, it took numerous calls to first get a CS person (which did nothing to help me) before finally getting a so called supervisor that said she needs 3 days to look into everything and get back to me. The fun continues as she never calls me back and it took 4-5 more calls to get her on the line, ask her what’s going on, and she proceeds to tell me my refund was denied by accounting!! What?? I tell her how bad of business this was…etc. and she requires me to send her the certified weights tickets, which I did with other documents, and I never get a confirmation from her that requires 3 more calls to get her back on the phone. Once I do she tells me she can reimburse me like $60, which is 10% of the total extra money from the second estimate they wanted me to pay EVEN though I was still under 2000 LBS. She gives me the typical talking points that this is in the contract under section 11 fine print or something even though I specifically asked the quality assurance guy MULTIPLE times that if I’m under 2000 lbs. is my original contract what I will be charged and he answered multiple times….YES with no mention of only receiving 10% of it back. I told them to pull their phone records to hear the call I had with the quality assurance guy that he stated my first estimate would be legit if under 2000 lb. weight, which they said they would, and of course NEVER called me back, and when I then called them they just continued to deny the refund. It’s ridiculous they sell you one thing, change it on you with deceptive tactics, and now once they have your extra money even though the weight stayed within the first estimate…they have so called loopholes/fine print to want to keep 90% of it. This also doesn’t take into account not only the numerous calls I’ve had to make to CS/Supervisor to even get to this point….I made a minimum of 8 attempts between calls/email to original guy that gave the first estimate in which he never responded back to me once when all the issues started because he knew what they do in my opinion. Then I called the 24 hr line and left messages in which they never returned any calls that then led to me finally getting 3 different supervisors that do NOTHING to help. I’ve seen very few positive reviews on both companies and all I can say is those are not legit and these are FAKE reviews in my opinion. If you search for reviews from multiple sources, you will see the majority of the reviews are HORRIBLE and no way can a company that has so many bad reviews all of a sudden have a random 5 star review out of the blue. If either of these companies treated and cared about their customers, there wouldn’t be this many poor reviews so don’t believe those few that say they had a good experience….you will find out the hard way if you hire these people. After they lied to me and said my stuff was going to be delivered 3 different times, and NEVER did, I finally got the drivers cell number and had to beg him to deliver my stuff. 4 days after that first contact with the driver, they finally show up in a rundown truck that they even told me the police pulled them over for inspection that was a 3 hour delay. Once they arrived, boxes were crushed and dented, furniture was exposed with other items rubbing and scratching against them, fragile boxes were upside down with the sound of broken glass inside as soon as they moved them, and other peoples stuff that was on the same truck were just thrown aside with no regard to handling it gently. I literally watched throw floor lamps where the heads were exposed and all broken. You just get to the point you want what you can salvage back and get anything associated with either of these companies behind you and out of your life. Well now that we had several items broken, I replied back to the email Daivd and Goliath sent me with pictures and detailed description of the damages as they advised twice….and guess what, no response to confirm they received my email as I asked and now for two straight days NOBODY is picking up the phone as it says everyone is out of office?? I have no confidence I will ever get this resolved but I will continue to try and try to make sure this company is exposed to as many people as possible so other don’t get scammed and mistreated like I have. It’s an absolute shame that a company in the US can be in business like this and continue to operate to take advantage of so many people. This is one case the Government needs to step in and put better regulation on this industry and put companies like this out of business as they are not fit to operate. Very disappointed and extremely dissatisfied. YOU’VE BEEN WARNED!!
