   Recently used david Dale removals to move some good from Durham to France they provided a very efficient service and collected and delivered very promptly. I would highly recommend them again , and we will most likely use them to bring out some new furniture later this yr . Thanks again .

   I had a small amount of personal effects to come back from Denmark to UK and was told by friends David Dale Removals would be able to help on a part load basis. We had to be flexible regarding collection and deliveries as it would go on the truck as it was passing through Denmark. We kept in contact with the driver and it all worked smoothly and arrived safely in the UK. Great work.

   Move from Guildford to Denia spain.

   Moved from Guildford to Denia in Spain in June this year. The whole experience was a doddle from start to finish. The crew arrived on Monday afternoon collected our stuff & delivered in Denia on the Friday afternoon. Their price was competitive & easy to understand contract. This company run to Spain every week as they have a depot near Alicante. The week I wanted to move was not available but they could accomadate me the following week. They sent me packing materials in advance free of charge so we could pack up our stuff & then collected them when we had unpacked in Spain. Brilliant!! Special thanks to Ross & Tom who made it all so easy. I have bought a Kitchen in the UK & are having it transported by them in the next 2 weeks. I would certainly recomend this company.

   David Dale is rude, ignorant, and incompetent. They took our stuff to Spain and then simply didn't deliver it because they hadn't done their homework before arrival. They blamed us and drove our stuff away to their storage unit four hours distant and charged us to release it to another company we had to pay to complete the job properly. An absolute scandal that this man is allowed to continue in business.

   Lucky Escape

   After weeks of David Dale’s rude, patronising, condescending and flippant remarks I was told that my move could not be booked because one of his Spanish workers had broken his arm and he was looking to hire a local man & van worker to help out! Offered a deposit refund which at the time of writing this, I have not yet received. Wrote to BAR to complain. Famous DD quotes - Hello David how are you DD - You don’t want to know I would really like to move in early December DD - Yeah, you and twenty thousand others When do you think you could move me DD - Haven’t got a clue! I can not believe anyone can run a business like this and I seriously suggest you use anybody else.

   I would never use this company again. There attitude was unbelievable and not excitable. The two chimps that arrived to remove my uncle and auntie from North Yorkshire were so rude and client ignorant. We offered the chimps a colour coded diagram. To make the move easy. But no they said Ho we don’t bother with that [EDIT]. We just carry boxes in the house. And that’s what they did. Never once would they stop and let us see the colour coded boxes to make life easier. I had one hundred pounds in my pocket for the guys a tip. But after there attitude and work ethic. They got nothing.

   Update on Luis previous posting.

   This is an update on my previous posting to provide more factual information. Yesterday I finally recovered the piece of furniture they had damaged. It was SIX weeks after delivery date, after exchanging multiple emails, being forced to seek legal advice and they only did it after getting to the stage of having to give them an ultimatum before going to Court. Despite that they still had the cheek to ask me to sign a document indicating that the furniture (that they had damaged and glued!!) had been returned to me '..in the same condition that it left your home in Spain' Be very careful with these people!!

   To whom it may concern, David Dale's negative reviews are indeed merited. David and I confirmed the details of my move from Lisbon to London over the phone, he requested that I send my details via email, upon which time he would then confirm via email. A week and a half went by with no confirmation. I called David to find out what happened. He said he booked his truck with other customers and never bothered to respond my email. There were no apologies. I hate to think what might have happened if he had actually done the move and lost my boxes. This service may be cheap, but it's riddled with problems. Alex MacDonald.

    NIghtmare company.

    We recently used David Dale removals for a house move from Costa Blanca in Spain to Kent. After receiving an initial quote which I agreed with, I paid the deposit and sat back waiting for a stress free removal experience from a company who said they would do it all.  On the day of the removal they turned up in the pitch black at 18:30 when they said they would be there after lunch, no communication to advise me, I had to call their UK office to find out what was happening. The truck they arrived in would have been more suited to an American motorway than the narrow roads generally found in Spain, I did fear this in advance and warned David Dale but after measuring the drive I assumed it would be ok. The guys couldn’t reverse up the drive though and as the hour was late they decided they couldn’t make it and would come back tomorrow, as we were flying the next morning this put us in an impossible situation. My wife who is pregnant begged them to move what they could, I then decided to shuttle everything down from the villa using my pickup truck to their lorry. I in affect did everything whilst they put stickers on stuff and filled in paperwork. My wife couldn’t do much being pregnant and advised them as such but one of the removal guys seemingly an expert in antenatal medicine said he was sure she would be ok to pitch in and lift some boxes. So first part over, very stressful and they didn’t get everything in either as we were the last people to be picked up so we had to leave some items behind. Again waiting back in the UK for delivery we expected it on the Friday and again I had to chase to find out when, we waited all day on Friday, again nothing so I called them to find out that due to problems at Calais they couldn’t get over in time and would now be Saturday. Ok I get there are problems with such a long journey and not their fault but why no communication, why are we chasing all the time?? So they turn up on Saturday finally and we get our stuff. So then I need to find out when they will pick up the next items, again lack of communication but eventually its arranged and picked up. I get an email though advising me I am now to be charged an additional fee to pick up the remaining items, something I had not been told in advance.  This really upsets me, because firstly they tell me this after they have picked up the stuff and also ask for the money the day before it’s due to arrive. I write an email back to David Dale advising how poor I think they have been only to get an email back advising me 'Oh dear someone got out of the wrong side of bed this morning didn’t we?' Unbelievable attitude from a so called professional outfit. They then continue to tell me how little they make on removals and how hard it is etc. for what reason I’m not sure as I’m nearly a grand out of pocket for a joke of a service. Anyhow I pay the extra money online transfer and await for the last delivery sometime on Friday or Saturday. It doesn’t arrive on Friday, no surprise so Sat morning I call them and am told that because I hadn’t paid, the driver has sailed on past us and gone up to Milton Keynes now. I can’t believe it, I paid straight away but due to it being to a new account it probably didn’t show straight away also if they were never intending to deliver unless the money was in their account why not tell me that and I could have done it some other way, also why not tell me the stuff was never going to arrive on fri or Saturday!! Anyhow the guy on the phone advises me he is dealing with a customer, I guess I don’t qualify as customer and hangs up. I don’t get a phone call back and no communication. I send an email asking what’s going on and finally am advised that actually the money is now showing and they will deliver on the Monday. Monday comes and yes the stuff arrives at last! So I can safely say don’t ever, EVER use these jokers for removals if you can. They are rude, incompetent, uncommunicative, unreliable and generally just shabby in every sense of the word.  Phew I’m done that’s it..
