   Successful move.

   We moved from Allentown, PA to Dallas, TX in January 2019. The guys were great and treated the furniture with care. Henry, Javier and Jose were great. We received the items within two weeks in TX. Thank you for the hard work will definitely recommend this company to friends and family.

   Moving experience.

   We've used excellent Choice Movers 2 times, always Relieble,efficient and professional. Our crew Henry, Javier and Jason called ahead so we wouldn't worry, arrived early and got the job done in record time. They treat your possessions like heirlooms, wrapping and protecting everything carefully. This company will cost a little more, but this is well worth it in the ease, professionalism and quality of service. We will definitely recommend excellent choice movers to friends and family.

   Consumer Beware!

   There aren’t enough spaces to describe how aweful this company is. I hired a broker who in turn pawned me off to this company for the actual move. I was quoted 3100 and these people charged me 9200 stating what a deal it was to move me from ct to nm. Only reason I didn’t toss them out of my house is my house closing was the net day and I didn’t have a Choice. A couple days later I called my broker - interstate movers out of florida who took the paperwork from excellent choice and stated to me and them they over charged us by over 2k. Not only that but every single box was smashed and crushed upon arrival 3 weeks later and three boxes were soaked resulting in damage. I have filed a complaint with the BBB against this company no consumer should be lied to like these people have. I caution ANY consumer reading this to make sure you don’t have anything g to do with excellent choice. Do your homework people. A lot of times when you hire a moving company they are just the broker I would caution anyone reading this to be very careful with interstate movers out of Florida’s and especially stay away from excellent Choice.

   Moving.

   I moved from Maryland to Nevada,took them 8-9 hours to load my furniture, complaining how tired they were.They stated that they could not take all my furniture because I had wood furniture and glass items.I gave half of my belongings away to fit the remaining on the truck.I had a 3-story colonial house and they arrived with a 26-28' TRUCK.all items were placed in the driveway.All my wood furniture was CRATED,which you pay extra,loaded by 3 people,and the women Nicole did absolutely nothing but stay on her phone.We started this process on 7-25-17,no communication between this carrier and I unless I called them.I filed a complaint with the Dept. of Transportation,and the BBB in the state,and " moving claim.net".When I finally received my furniture on 9-4- 2017,all CRATED wood furniture had damage on it.Some of my boxes,at least (3) had been repacked in a different box than we had packed.we (3) type of boxes (U-Haul,walmart,lowes).We contracted with American Wide Relocation,out of North Palm Beach florida,paid them,paid this company $1000.00 more than quoted at pickup.I would strongly encourage any not to use this carrier or affiliates ever,also file your complaints with the agency listed above.I am waiting on a resolution,concerning this problem Also one picture is missing from my inventory.

   Don't Use Them.

   My husband and I used Excellent Choice Movers for our move from Washington, DC to Texas this summer. They postponed our move date at the last minute and then arrived later than they said they would because they got stuck in traffic. They took over 6 hours to load our furniture onto the truck (the last time we moved with the exact same furniture took about half that time), and they complained the entire time about how heavy our belongings were. 1. I am small and out of shape and could lift most of our boxes myself. 2. We told them that we had solid wood furniture when we initially got our quote and scheduled the move. 3. Movers are hired to move heavy things - it is part of the job description. They took all of our belongings outside and piled them out around the truck. All 4 of them were standing outside (but apparently not actually doing anything) and I was inside trying to tidy up after them (because they left all of their empty tape rolls all over the place). One of the movers then came in and told me that someone had just stolen my husband's bike, which had been left propped up against the back of the truck. Instead of taking responsibility for allowing someone to walk up and steal our bike, they made racist comments about our neighbors and implied that a couple of guys next door must have done it. When I called customer service to notify them of the theft, I was told that "it was not the movers' responsibility to babysit our belongings" and that they wouldn't do anything to compensate us for our stolen bike. They finally hit the road and told us they would call when our stuff was loaded on the big truck and leaving the warehouse - this was on June 8. On June 17, we were told our stuff was on the truck and heading to Texas. We didn't hear anything from them for 11 days so we eventually called back on the 28th and were told that our belongings had been unloaded off the truck and put back in the warehouse. Nobody had bothered to tell us that until WE called them. We waited an additional 4 days before our stuff was reloaded onto the truck and actually left the warehouse. We understood that they couldn't give us a specific date when our stuff would arrive in Texas, but we asked if we could at least know how many other stops the truck would make between leaving New Jersey and arriving in Texas. We were told that they didn't know (how would they not know?!?) but that we would get 24 hours notice before the truck arrived. At 8pm on Friday, July1, we received a call saying our stuff would be dropped off at 10am the following day. I was an English major in school, but even I know that is not 24 hours. We were out of town for the holiday weekend, so my husband had to drive 4 hours back to meet the movers the next day. When our stuff arrived, many of our pieces of furniture were scratched and beat up (corners broken, etc.). I am generally a rational and understanding person, but this entire move was terrible from start to finish. I hope that nobody else has to deal with what we went through because this truly made an already stressful situation even worse.

   Broken furniture and confusing process - do NOT recommend.

   I would very strongly caution against using this company's services. We did not select them but the company we paid (B-52 Van Lines) contracted our job out to them. Excellent Choice movers showed up 3 hours late, charged us almost double what we had been quoted, and took very poor care of our belongings: 4 pieces of furniture arrived broken (most missing legs or feet of furniture) and the movers broke one more right in front of us upon delivery. The furniture was not protected properly nor handled with care. Two boxes also arrived crumpled, although they were marked "Fragile," and had broken serving dishes inside. The movers who delivered our furniture arrived 5 hours late and smelling of marijuana. When we contacted the company about the broken and damaged items, the movers responded that "our furniture was old" - when in fact, it is not that old nor was it in poor condition. Their Customer Service was confusing and there were long delays in addressing the situation. I repeat that I very, very strongly urge against working with either B-52 Van Lines or Excellent Choice Movers.
