Excellent moving company.
I used EQ movers for a move from a storage facility in Connecticut to an apartment in NYC. Communication with Sergei was excellent and he responded both to text and telephone calls very quickly. As for promptness and professionalism: The day of the move, Sergei called to say “they will be there in 10-15 minutes and, indeed, Max & Andy showed up in 10 minutes. These guys were seasoned moving professionals. (Not day-workers picked up from a sidewalk somewhere.) Max and Andy thought about the placement of everything inside the truck and packed everything beautifully. All of my belongings (artwork, furniture and boxes) arrived without any damage whatsoever. When it came time to pay there were no “surprises” or upcharges. The quote given to me before the move was the price I paid. Not a penny more. One tip: pay in cash. EQ has a 10% surcharge for using a credit card. I HIGHLY recommend EQ Movers. The move went off without a hitch and, the EQ team was highly skilled, calm under pressure and easy to work with.
