   They will scam you out of your money, damage your possessions and will steal beds, tools and other valuables. You cannot get a hold of them to get help or answers. They will "insure your items for .50 per LB. (Our missing Cal King Temperpedic is covered for $100, not the replacement cost of over $4500). Check YELP reviews, and DO NOT use them!

   THESE GUYS ARE A BUNCH OF CROOKS - They contract with others to do the moving and when things go south they continuously lie to you about how they are looking out for you. The people the contract with are despicable extortionists. They delivered a month late and took part of the shipment with them. After 4 months of consistent calling with Extraspace, their contractor Great American Van Lines and the actual person that took my stuff I have had enough.Twice they have extorted money with promises of delivery and today was the third time they tried. I will now seek to report this to all the authorities I can.DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE

   Do not and I repeat do not use this company. I originally spoke with Brandon and I spoke, letting him know that I had a 4-bedroom home and would be moving 2 living room sets and 4 beds with headboards and footboards. They gave me a quote and it has 57 boxes. I never once spoke on boxes. The articles to be moved is all the way at the bottom of the quote. It will be missed. It is not at the top with the amount of space and lbs. You will not be able to get a refund after 24 hours. The will keep all of the your deposit even if they do not move anything. Started a charge-back. No services rendered.

   My contact was Dylan Perry , I wanted to move my one bedroom , tv room , game room , From Hot Springs Ar. to Franklin Tn , 447 miles . No appliances would be moved . They were to bring a trailer for one of my cars and add my storage unit . It was bad from the git go , They never told me they were brokers , I was told by Perry that the 286 cf and the list of 41 pieces was not all that important just a starting point . He assured me they had good people , when in fact there were none . The move went bad on March 22nd 2024 when they finally showed up . No moving van , a bumper pull trailer , no trailer for my car . All they were into was , yeah you got it , 286 cf and 41 pieces , everything else is extra . I would not sign any of their contracts , I had one with Perry . After they were loaded , a guy named Nick with Great American Moving , New Jersey, called . He wanted 6000.00 to deliver my stuff , I said no , it went to 5000 , 3000 , 2000 , finally to 1300.00 , I owed 869.00 . For 36 days , Extra Space Mover and their sub contractor has promised me 8 times to deliver . This is a great scam , I can't talk to Dylan Perry , who lied to me , Can't talk to the owner , only to customer service , and they help the sub drag it out . Finally the police are treating this as a theft , above 8000.00 . I never checked the BBB , it is some good reading . I was amazed at how many people paid thousands to get their stuff . My goal is to shut these people down , They need some jail time . I am not a single victim, they have done this to hundreds of victims . Bill Ferguson , Franklin , Tn

   Stay Away!

   After multiple phone calls, and being on hold for up to an hour each time, I was unable to reach anyone to confirm a pick-up date. In scheduling my move, I couldn't wait any longer, so I canceled the charge on my credit card. Of course, within an hour, Extra Space called and said the deposit was non-refundable. They didn't even offer to help the situation. They won't refund my deposit and my credit card company (Citibank) was just as worthless in fighting the charges. So Extra Space got over $1,000 for not providing a service of any kind. It's disappointing companies like this are allowed to operate this way with no consequences.

   Bad company

   Hired a moving company thru Extra Space..original agent screwed up the original order. Didn't include items that I told him and added items that I did not. Called them back and would not acknowledge the fact that original agent made a mistake. 2nd agent added missing items and charged me an additional $400..Day of the move the truck arrived with 1 man (the driver) to move our furniture.he made a video of our stuff and sent it to his boss who then charged us an additional $600 for unstackable items. original cost was $2230 plus $400 plus $600..Our furniture was supposed to be delivered on Thursday..It is now Sunday with no call from them. When I called I was told it should be Monday night..Bunch of scammers.

   Worst ever. Estimated 732 cu ft and ended up charging for 1700 u ft with no change to inventory. Am reported them to DOT. These peoples are scanners. Estimate of 4,000 ended up costing 9,000!! Please be aware.

    The price continues to go up!!! I chose this company based on their initial quote. I received the quote 3 months prior to moving. I told the initial sales person what I was planning to take and he said it was the equivalent of a two bedroom and it would cost $1767, which I thought was outstanding. They said pricing was good because they already had a partial load truck coming through and I'd fill the remainder of the truck. I was given a 3 day window for the pickup. One week prior to moving, I received a call to verify the inventory and my estimate was now about $6600 and I needed to pay an additional $2000 above the $676 already paid. The balance would be split and paid upon pickup and delivery. I didn't say no and search for another mover, as I'd already paid some down and I was a week from moving. The 3 day window was confirmed and I'd be called one day prior to pickup. I received the call from a subcontractor Handle with Care (Logistic Moving Services) and confirmed the day of pickup with a 2 hour window. They arrived 10 minutes after the 2 hour window and started loading. I was completing loading paperwork and one document was about 10% gratuity required. I questioned this and he said that's how he gets paid. I contacted Extra Space customer service and was told that's inaccurate and refuse to pay. There was a partial load already on the truck that took up about one-third of the truck. While loading, the lead person told me I'd hit my limit and asked what I was doing with the remaining furniture? I said everything goes. Everything fit onto the truck packed tightly with a couple feet to spare. After loading, the lead person was calculating and said I had 2200 cubic feet. I stated the call one week ago estimated 907 cubic feet and there's no way this is possible. He stated based on his paperwork, that's the amount. He said the computer estimation doesn't know the size of my items. I still argued the amount. The lead guy said he'd make me a deal and document I had 1600 cubic feet. The difference between 2200 and 1600 cubic feet was $2250. I could pay him $1000 cash and forget the gratuity. I was asked to pay $5266 with a balance of $2257 to be paid upon delivery. I'm in a bind. My moving costs just went to $12,000 and the truck is loaded. I was ready to get on the road, so I wrote the check. During my drive, I was thinking about the size of the truck and my cubic feet loaded. It was a 26 foot truck and contained 1600 cubic feet, not more than 1750 cubic feet. The truck had a partial load already consuming 1/3 of the truck, therefore on 1600 cubic feet, with a couple feet still available, I shouldn't have more than 1072 cubic feet. I received a call from the delivery company, a sub-subcontractor, informing me of day of arrival and given a two hour window. At the same time, being informed I needed to send him $400. I questioned and he said for diesel. I refused. Afterwards, I received a call from Jerry with Handle with Care informing me to pay with money orders made out to Logistic Moving Services. While awaiting the truck to deliver, I receive a call from the sub-subcontractor telling me i needed to wire payment. I informed him Jerry told me how to pay and that's how I'm paying. The truck finally arrived an hour and half past the two hour window. They immediately requested payment and I delivered the money orders. They refused them because they said they're a different company. Phone calls started going back and forth for both parties. After thirty minutes of arguing, they left to go eat. I made and received calls from both companies in the mean time. Two and a half hours later, they returned and offloaded my belongings. I took a picture of the space my belongings took on the truck and I measured the space. I asked the workers how much space I took and one said 1024 cubic feet. Another thought it was 1200 cubic feet. My measurement calculated to 1024 cubic feet. I contacted Extra Space customer service and discussed the overcharging for space. I was informed I shouldn't have signed the contract and had them to unload the truck originally. I was told they'd contact the owner and have him to call me. I called customer service everyday for a week and never received a call from the owner and was finally told nothing could be done as I signed the contract.
