   great experience

   We recently used Family Movers for a long distance move, communication with Daryl was excellent , i was kept informed and updated regularly. The guys arrived on time, were very friendly, polite and hard working. Move went great, Daryl organized extra guys to unload quicker. Overall a great move from Family Movers.

   Highly Recommended

   I have used movers six times in recent years. Darrell and his guys at Family Movers in Penticton were far and away the best. Communication was great... you actually get to speak with the owner on the phone! They juggled times on short notice and were nice and super efficient about it. The guys were clean and friendly and hard working. They were on time and on budget. No damage, no issues of any kind. Gee, I wish I had found them earlier. Also they were recommended by my apartment manager. She was right!

   Long haul move from West Keliwna to Delta.

   These movers were on time, had extra staff, worked super hard, & were super friendly to top it off. The last part of the move was the most difficult & the Two main guys (Chris & ?) did an amazing job. I just can’t say enough. Chris was especially supportive & kind. Great bunch of guys & very professional. I would not hesitate to secure this company as my movers in the future. Thanks to Darrell also! You guys are THE BEST!!

   Great Experience with these Movers!

   On Jan. 31, 2018, we used "Family Movers" to move us from south Penticton to the downtown area. We were so impressed with the work-ethic of the two employees who did the job! They were punctual, friendly and professional; definitely worked as a team. They took care in loading the furniture and boxes into their truck. At our destination, they quickly unloaded the furnishings and set everything in the particular rooms, as requested. They made a big task look easy and it was a pleasure to have hired this company. Price was very reasonable, too. Thank you, Darrell! Would highly recommend your company "Family Movers"!

   Damaged items

   First there was issues with arranging dates and times, was told everything would be wrapped and cared for, but many of my items received damages from workers not wrapping or being careful enough...the worst being brand new Ashley furniture that has been damaged....sent message to owner...no response or compensation to replace damaged items. While the movers worked quickly, I would not recommend to anyone who has treasured items that require care thru a move. Sadly, I am at a loss because of this company.

   Do Not Use This Company.

   They were late for my move and nobody bothered to call saying they'd be late. They were short staffed even tho I booked 3 men and a truck over a month in advance. They sent a guy and a girl with a truck. The guy was not physically able to help move anything. They girl did however work very hard. I packed my fragile items carefully and marked all the boxes accordingly. They damaged my furniture and broke some of my antiques. Its been 7 weeks and nothing has been done to fix my damaged furniture or broken antiques altho I've called and emailed many times.
