   Worth the slightly higher price

   I spent a good amount of time comparing Colorado moving companies and collecting estimates before deciding. Fischer Van Lines wasn’t the cheapest option, but once the work began, I could see where the difference came from. They wrapped and padded every item, protected my floors and walls, and moved with real precision instead of rushing or dragging time out. Communication was upfront, clear, and consistent. If you care more about dependable quality than shaving off a few dollars, this is the kind of company that earns your confidence.

   Made moving surprisingly easy

   I’m usually a total stress-ball when it comes to moving day, but these guys completely changed the experience. They showed up ready to go, worked fast without cutting corners, and handled all the heavy stuff like it was no big deal. They even took apart and rebuilt some tricky furniture for me, which saved a ton of frustration. The energy stayed upbeat all day and communication was smooth. Not a single thing was damaged, and they placed everything exactly where I wanted. They wrapped furniture carefully, protected the walls and floors, and handled every item like it truly mattered. I was especially impressed with how they wrapped our heritage mirror so thoughtfully. They took extra time cushioning it and checked with me to understand its sentimental value, which meant a lot.    Dear Jeff: I want to (finally) take a moment and thank you for the terrific job your team did moving us on August 23rd from Arvada to Loveland. It was a very hot day and everyone did their best to keep things moving in a timely fashion. The team leader, Harry, was outstanding and always on top of everything - very polite, keeping a perfect balance between work and much needed breaks for his team during the sweltering heat. The rest of the group: Little A, Chris, Marcos and Troy worked very hard and were also very polite and considerate. Fischer Van Lines did a great job of providing a fair and accurate quote, provided a professional team and did a terrific job under demanding conditions. Thank you very much!

   Do yourself a favor and go with a different moving company! We got completely ripped off and I regret choosing Fischer Van Lines. The owner Jeff is condescending and not willing to make things right for mistakes the company makes. Their website states they are an affordable moving company which has not been our experience. We were quoted $850 for 3 hours with 3 movers to move our 1.5 bedroom apartment into a single family home. The day of the move only 2 movers showed up but the paperwork had the rate for 3 movers. They assured me they would do what they could to knock it out as quickly as possible. Josiah and Tommy were super friendly and were really hustling which we really appreciated. Half way through the move they realized it was taking longer than expected so asked if they could bring over another guy which we approved since that was what was originally agreed upon. However they eventually told us they were understaffed and the third individual wasn’t joining after all. 7 hours and $1600 later they finally finished. This was double the cost we were expecting and is absurd for moving a 1.5 bedroom apartment. I can’t even imagine how much it would cost if we had more stuff. Our friends moved the same day we did with a different company and paid half as much to move double the items. I will be making sure everyone I know goes with a different mover and will never be using this company again. I hope this saves people from making the same mistake we did.
