Disorganized; Lost Items; Unresponsive
My experience with Forward Van Lines has been awful. I hired them in April 2022 for a move from Washington, DC to Boca Raton, FL, but since my new home wasn’t ready, I arranged to store my belongings with them for over two years. During this time, I paid storage fees regularly and the final delivery fee once the delivery was scheduled for August 2024. When my belongings arrived in August 2024, I discovered that a box containing valuable artwork, including an original John Lennon piece valued at over $5,000, was missing. I immediately contacted Forward Van Lines, but they failed to provide an explanation or even proof of delivery. After several attempts to follow up, they simply stopped responding to me. At this point, I’ve had to dispute the charges and consider legal action. If you’re considering using Forward Van Lines or Brooks Moving and Hauling, be warned—this company is unreliable and unprofessional. They don’t take care of your belongings or provide proper customer service.
