   Awesome Company!

   Our move was great with the Get a Move On team! I can't imagine a more positive experience. From the first visit to assess our inventory and give us a price to the delivery of the final load was A+ This is a family owned business out of Wichita Kansas and they were 100% true to their word on everything - the day and time of pickup, the day and time of delivery, and the total price. The Wichita team was professional, friendly, hard working and extremely knowledgeable. Fantastic group of men - they actually made the work in extreme heat seem A-okay! Wow! The driver, Steve, was the best! He can drive, inventory, direct the guys in the proper way to wrap, protect and load our furniture and do it ALL with a smile on his face. Having never moved like this before, I was worried and nervous. Steve alleviated my fears with his first sentence - he assured me everything would be okay, my packing was fine and nothing would get broken. Guess what? Nothing was broken! And I am sure it is because of the work on his part - not my packing. Michael was also great at putting me at ease about the process and so pleasant! The entire group was great. Steve and Jesse were a joy to work with when they arrived in California. It was not an easy destination - a 3rd-floor apartment complex with very limited access for a huge truck. Steve made it work.. even though it meant he had to move the truck several times when it was blocking other residents. He was always positive, accommodating and cordial with everyone he came in contact with. His attitude is a great advertisement for the Get a Move On company! He provides excellent customer service with a personal touch. He treated some of my old possessions as treasures because he understood that value isn't always judged by the monetary worth of an item. And he was so nice to me when I tried to be too helpful, got in the way, or worried about something. Steve definitely deserves a raise!

   Not a good company.

   We incurred damage to some walls during a move Get A Move On did for us at the beginning of Feb 2019 and we filed a claim. We have called to get this issue resolved and have been told on several occasions that someone will call us to schedule a time to come to the house to do an estimate..no one ever calls. We've left numerous voice mails and messages and our calls are never returned. We should have read the reviews before we scheduled the move, because lots of people complained about damage claims being completely ignored. Unless and if this issue gets resolved there is no way I can recommend get A Move On. I suggest finding a different moving company.

   Poor Customer Support.

   They moved us from Wichita to Corrales on 7-8-16 and would not respond to our requests for 10 weeks to repair the items that they acknowledged they damaged during the move until threatened. We contacted them for 10 weeks, the morning I wrote to indicated I would be contacting their referral source they contacted us and claimed they could not get a hold of us. Phone numbers and e-mail addresses had not changed. Move crew was fine, office staff was extremely uncooperative.
