Would use again.
Top notch. Two rockstars showed up on time, efficiently packed multiple floors and safely delivered EVERYTHING to our new house with no damage what so ever. Totally professional, personable and timely. While I don't enjoy moving, I enjoyed doing it with Golden Van Lines.

Refused to wear Covid 19 PPE masks.
The driver was great, the guys helping load and unload the truck were great but when I asked them to wear their masks, which their company required, they refused. I even showed them a copy of Atlas Van Lines Covid 19 document but they still refused. My wife and I are in our 70's and considered "at risk" but they refused to acknowledge the risk to us and refused to wear masks. Please be aware that the salesman or estimator will "promise" you one thing, but the driver and crew will do whatever they want. I Cannot in good conscience recommend using Atlas or Golden State Van Lines or any of their sub contractors. If my wife or I contract any virus as a result of their carelessness we will definitely sue for breach of contract. We will be moving again in a few months but I will find someone else to handle our move.

Overcharged by movers.
The main complaint is one I read about a lot, for Atlas especially. Golden Van Lines (local company) and Atlas Van Lines did TWO estimates and came in $2000 or more CHEAPER than TWO other national companies (who were honoring a union discount) only to end up charging me about the same higher price as the honest estimates. They also left without finishing the job.
