   Short Move

   I moved within a senior citizen facility this time.. This was the third time Gordon moved me, all short-distance moves. They provided first rate service, they arrived at the time they promised, and all of my moves went well. I recommend this company.

   Terrific Move

   The cost was better than the competition. The move from Austin to our new place in Baltimore went very smooth and they were on time! All our stuff was handled with kid glove care! Would highly recommend.

   Excellent!

   Marc Gordon with Gordon movers came over promptly to give us a quote. He was professional, courteous, pleasant, and gave us an excellent quote! His staff who loaded the truck were just as excellent in every way mentioned above. They arrived to our destination on time and unloaded everything, with NO damage! They even moved items that I changed my mind on for their final place in our new home. My husband and I couldn't be happier with our experience.

   Long distant move

   We had multiple things broken including our O LED tv and a brass lamp, entire boxes of things broken.We had several things missing, the wheels to a twin bed and parts to our shop vac and caps on legs of tables just to name a few. I would not recommend using them. The guys who delivered were very nice though.

   Out of State Moving Experience.

   I 've never written a bad review before and sorry to take away the five star rating, but my experience with Gordon was a nightmare. Not only was I delayed for two weeks, but when the time finally did come, I was delayed another two and a half days. Upon unpacking, I discovered I was missing my casual clothing and shoes. I immediately texted Marc and could not believe I received no response. I then e-mailed him a letter and again no response. No apology, no "I will attempt to contact our delivery before you and see if they have your boxes". Ignored completely. I would have accepted that and chalked it up to "Oh Well". I was also disappointed when trying to contact him regarding my delivery, he ignored my text and phone call. His mailbox was full, so I could not leave a message. Oh, I did hear from him the following morning, but at that time I was worried and upset. It's hard to believe that a company with such a reputation and recommendations could be so lax in communication. I didn't nag or pester him with calls or texts. Just at the end of an evening when your told you will be delivered sometime that day, or there is a problem, a call or text could have been nice. It should not be the customer to contact the company. Things happen, I am aware of that and sur-constancies happen, but not to let the customer know unless they call you is unacceptable. If he didn't ignore the contacts, I would have felt better and not worry, but to ignore is unbelievable. Supposedly they were sitting around waiting to deliver the furniture upon closing problems, so there certainly was time to answer me. I would not recommend Gordon Moving and Storage. I do have to say the staff who loaded the truck were hard working and friendly. I wish they were the ones who delivered. Can't say much for the delivery. Hopefully, no one will experience what I did in the future.
