   I had a great experience with my small local move (Coquitlam to Vancouver). They were accommodating, the movers came in 1/2hr early and they were professional, careful and personable. All my belongings made it safely to my new home, and everything (booking, the actual move, billing) went smoothly. Very satisfactory!

   Great People, professional & caring.

   I moved with Great Dane Moving at the end of January, it was a last minute move as my other movers did not show up. I was so glad when they arrived, they sent 2 very professional guys, who loaded up my furniture and moved me to my new residence. They moved me from Vancouver to New West with not a scratch. I was so nervous because all of my things were being loaded up, but it was sooooo smooth. Total recommend you guys. Thanks so much.

   Great Dane Moving Company.

   This is the WORST company ever!!  I have moved at least 4 times in 6 years, and this has been the only company I have had ANY real trouble with. Great Dane Moving was by far the WORST moving company I have ever had or dealt with.  They scratched and broke my furniture, they were an hour late and charged me for it. Two larger items went missing. They kept my deposit, even though it was over the phone and not signed for, saying it would be refunded later. My furniture was put into my storage in a complete upheaval. When the job was done their driver got me to sign a "form" only to say the job was finished, after 8pm at night in the dark.  Telling me not to worry, that the company has insurance to cover the damage. Now, 4 months later they are telling me it was "part" of another form that says "I" have to pay $500 to fill our their claim form!!  They did NOT give me a copy of the original form, said they would send me one. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.

   Stay Away.

   Anyone searching for a moving company should stay well away from this one.I hired Great Dane Moving for end October 2012 and was told that my furniture would be delivered 5 days after.  Well they only delivered the boxes 10 days later, and gave me the excuse that it had been too cold for they guys to deliver the full load.  I was told the rest would come a few days later so I patiently waited.  No one came.  I phoned and left many messages to find out when the rest of the shipment would come.  All my calls were ignored.  No one returned my calls. After 2 more weeks of waiting, I insisting to talk to SOMEBODY to find out what was going on.  I filed a complaint with the BBB.  They finally delivered most of the furniture after 1 month of waiting.  After the 2nd delivery, they still forgot my dining room table!  That came after another 5 days of waiting.  In all, my furniture took 5.5 weeks to come and 3 deliveries.  It got shuffled twice from different trucks and warehouses and arrived with significant damage.  DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. My piano had been dropped and many pieces of furniture had to be refinished.  My expenses came to $1500.00 but Great Dane only paid $550.00 and that was only after many hours of negotiating.  This company gets an F-.  Their moving guys don't treat your furniture with respect and the office staff doesn't call you back.  STAY FAR FAR AWAY!
