   Great Day Moving.

   In an industry where there are no guarantees except lots of stressful situations, I can promise Great Day Moving will change your opinion, relieve your stresses and completely surprise you. Recently, I was in a nightmare of a situation with another moving company. They were completely incompetent and unable to meet any of the contractual obligations and schedules. This left me searching last minute for a new mover.  My lease had already run out and I was really in a bind.  The other companies I contacted estimated 15 – 18 days to move me, but a friend suggested I call Great Day.  They were at my house the next morning. Within minutes of talking to them everything turned around; like when you call your best friend to help you through a rough time, they just put my mind at ease. Great Day Moving didn’t hesitate; they didn’t tell me what they wanted to do. Their first question was what do you need? I needed a miracle and fast; it’s exactly what I got.  Roger Ward, after listening to my needs, devised a plan that was fast and inexpensive.  He didn’t make empty promises to get my business, he laid out the details, made sure I was comfortable with the plan and helped me every step of the way; it felt like Superman had literally landed in my house. Roger and his crew know how to get the job done and done right. Within 2 days of contacting Great Day Moving I was packed and out of my house. If you want a moving company that’s willing to give its best effort and willing to make good on its promises, then Great Day Moving is the company for you. .

   Great Day Moving.

   We were very impressed by the Great Day Moving experience.  Jake came to see the furniture to be moved so that he could provide his best estimate.  (We contacted 3 other companies and none of them did that.)  The Great Day Moving crew were hard working, courteous, and fast. They were never idle.  Everything went like clock-work on the move day.  We definitely recommend these guys and will use them again.  .

   You're NOT going to have a great day

   You're NOT going to have a great day using Great Day Moving. On site over 2 hours late. Driver said truck wouldn't start, owner's wife said they were on another job. It doesn't help that the driver won't answer owner's wife's (sister-in-law) phone calls. Paid for 1 of the 2 movers to surf his phone for a total of at least an hour -- found him sitting in the cab or the back of the truck with his phone multiple times. Be prepared to do a lot of the work yourself since these are NOT professional, experienced movers. You're paying professional rates for amature labor. The only reason for 2 stars instead of 1 was Will's hard work and dedication to completing the job -- he didn't stop until it was done.

   Notice to all the information posting on here is facts from my own investigation and experience but do you own looking to this company your self First I will not recommend this company at all. Now on to my issue with them I have call them to get info about moving my house items to my new house I did see info on there website say for 2 bedroom start out at 375 to 475 so I gotten a quote for about 6-700 not more them 800 for if I recall 4-5 hours with 3 man and truck with early start time as 8 am but they did not show up until about 9:30 to 10 am they start moving stuff in the truck not taking time to use blanket or any kind of protection round the furniture just up start loading stuff in the truck so they got down to the appliance they totally took apart my new 2800 fridge in pieces the bottom door to the side door the legs off even all the shelves out after I have advised them that they did not have to do the they have butter fly it out the house as they how we gotten in the house when deliverer from the from store but they keep on assist they know and done it before so they got it the house so every time is out the house except little small things we can more our self So off to the new house we arrive start unloading the truck gotten everything off the truck now it’s time pay them when I got told the balance of about 1200 I just have a heart attack when I ask why so much they said it took more time. Yea when you take over 2 hours to disassemble and reassemble my 2800 fridge they told me there was extra charge for moving the fridge, stove, deep freezer and wisher and dryer at time time of the quote i was not told they was extra cost for them items so at the point I feel like I have no choice to pay the bill and call the office about the amount I was charged day or two I call them about the amount they was going to send 100 check back to me ok what ever. So we start unpacking and start setting our house that when we start see thing that was damaged first was the fridge was not working right have to call for service for it find out the water line was broken from the move them the door was not put back on right even the bottom freezer door was off truck them That cost me money to get fix them my 1 year old 4500 bed they pull out all the cords from the main control center. That was not call for even the main power cord even broken the keeper from keeping from unplugging of the main control center have to pay for getting that fix them finding out my wife jewelry box was place upside down that allow part of her jewelry come out found it thou out the house and out side of the house them next day start finding dishes was broken even good China dishes was totally destroyed (no it not from bad packing) they must have slam down the box in the truck they so much more they have I can go on but I’m not So I have try number of times to give them a call no one answer the phone left number of messages on several. Phone numbers that I have found and not one luck like they just up ghost me after they gotten 1200 out of me so I start calling the different city from Kansas City, independence, Ray-town, with number of others city on Missouri and Kansas side that when I find out they dont even carry not one city business license so that when the city start looking in to them there self they say they are licensed and insurance (yea bull) not true at all they say they are professionals. Yea that is other lie So I have no choice but to call my credit cards filed a dispute on the charge yea I did explain everything with them and the credit card company say to file the dispute as not authorized (credit card choice) not mine yes I did get the money back the. Case was found in my favor
