   Here to There Saved The Day !

   My family and I had planned to re-locate to Tampa Bay,Fl. from Fishers,IN. for employment reasons. My husband and I decided to use a very familiar large moving company we'll call XYZ. We booked this move WELL in advance ! 6 Months in advance, in fact ! The evening just PRIOR to our MOVE DAY, a rep from XYZ called and requested that we change our move to a later date. Because of our jobs, this WAS NOT an option !! They then informed us that they simply couldn't handle our move because of a "schedule conflict"!        Naturally, My husband and I were beyond frantic ! We began searching online, phone books and friends to locate & contact any and every moving co. possible ! After approx. 11 companies told us they simply could NOT do a move on such short notice, esc, being an out of state ! We then found a company called "Here to There Movers", which honestly, I'd never heard of prior to this. The Customer Service Rep. that answered was extremely pleasant and quickly eased our worries as she stated, they would do "ANYTHING" to assure that we were taken care of ! After a few brief holds, while she contacted mgrs.etc.,,to confirm this could be done, she returned and notified us that she COULD in fact book our move and arrive at the originally scheduled time. I will admit I was a bit hesitant as again, I had never heard of this company ! They arrived promptly at the scheduled time and were extremely polite, professional, and very friendly. We were there while our belogings were loaded and were quite amazed at the skill level of these men ! (Thomas B.&  Rosevelt D) We had some pretty difficult obstacles, such as treadmill from the 2nd fl,etc.. In the end, our belongings arrived at our new home in Florida without any incident ! Not one broken item, no issues whatsoever ! I am SO GRATEFUL TO HAVE FOUND AND WISELY CHOOSEN "HERE TO THERE MOVERS"! We truly don't know what we would have done had they not come to the rescue ! I WOULD RECOMMEND "HERE TO THERE MOVERS" TO ANYONE !! .

   Damaged furniture

   They have F rating with BBB. . Damaged furniture not repaired or reimbursed. There was $300.00 worth of damage. They were nonresponsive to my claim. Nonresponsive to BBB& Attorney General consumer protection. They said I had bedbugs but it was residue after heat treatment. They stopped in middle of move and left. I had to pay double by hiring another mover. This company hires criminals. "Fly by Night" should be their company name.

   Left us high and dry

   I am very glad that they lied about the state of my house & left me high and dry. After reading reviews I completely dodged a bullet. My move was completed without any broken, missing or damaged items. Not a BBB accredited business. Will NEVER recommend. The movers that showed up were smoking right before entering my home. Now I have to get my $$ back from my Groupon and NO one should use them. Groupon or not.

   Damaged property

   Movers damaged my property during my move, incident report filed, spoke with manager, told I would be reimbursed.....months later nothing. Multiple voice mails and phone conversations regarding reimbursement I was told I would be receiving.....Never happened. I CANNOT recommend.

   Showed up High, Argued W/ each other, Broke items

   Hired them to load our Uhaul. 3 guys show up and one guy it was his first week and he was totally high- smelled like weed. About an hour into them working he started yelling at his co worker and refused to pack something. These 2 guys argued for 30 minutes (I am paying by the hour). The guy that was high ended up quitting and leaving. The other 2 kept working but did a terrible job loading our truck. Our kitchen table and all chairs were broke. Our coffee table and end table was also broke. I filed a claim over 7 weeks ago and have had no response. I’m left with shattered furniture beyond repair, paid for this terrible service and guys arguing at my house. It was a complete mess!

   RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. Please contact me (317-500-3838) for video of damage to almost everything they touched. After showing concern on how they were packing my household items, they locked up the truck and threaten to take my items away if I didn't pay them in advance. Everyone I shared my experience with (realtor, neighbors, friends) told me i should have called the police. WORST (ALL TIME) EXPERIENCE of my lifetime. I don't just mean moving... ALL TIME WORST decision regarding anything. RUN! CALL SOMEONE ELSE... Honestly, please call me.

   Don't Hire.

   PLEASE read all of these reviews prior to booking. Everything below is true and accurate. It really was a horrible experience. I was quoted at $425 for a piano move. They showed up and left the house within a few minutes only to claim they had been there for 2 hours waiting on me. I had to reschedule because of this. THEN, they showed up, moved and dinged up the piano, and wrote me a bill for $750. I called and they only thing they were willing to do was apologize for the wrong quote and then send me a refund check for $180. This check has never arrived. NEVER HIRE.

   Horrible.

   I wish I would have checked reviews of this company. They are being sued over and over and do not have one positive review. I honestly don't know how they are still in business. They showed up with a truck that had 3 other sofas in it (assume from a previous move that the movers wanted to keep). As a result they couldn't fit all of our furniture in it. Did their movers care? Not at all. Did management care? Not at all. Did we pay for a full empty truck still? Sure did. Then the move - awful. They damaged our master bed, sectional sofa, dryer, dropped bikes and were shoving pieces of furniture in the truck with no regards to care. They lost our treadmill cord. We recognized all the damage immediately - they told us to file a claim. Which we did immediately. We should never have paid them. They are dishonest, will lie to you, not respond and not pay what their contract states they will. When you ask to speak to the owner or someone other than JR (John Fries) they say there is no one to speak to. JR acknowledged the damage and told me they would reimburse me and then it never happens. For three weeks I called them and emailed them. JR said he never received the message because he was so busy. Really? Like he is the only that is busy - how about the time I have spent chasing down a corrupt company that lies and cheats? They are infuriating. when I finally spoke to JR on the phone he said "Corporate" would cut a check for the damages. What a joke. Still waiting for that check and that was two months ago. I notified Groupon of the sham of a company they are representing. They refunded my groupon after I shared all the documentation. I encourage everyone to contact the Secretary of State, Attorney General and continue to share the absolute shame of dealing with this company "Here to There" Movers, John Fries, JR, Jeff at Here to There Movers. RUN RUN RUN away from this sham of a company.

   Dishonest company.

   Never use this company they are liars,dishonest,scammers,they will hustle you and destroy your property. they will not pay you for the damages. I can guarantee you will be unhappy with there service. This company seem to be broke, they have no money to pay me for the damages that they caused. The movers broke and damaged three rooms of my furniture, that can not be use. My dining room table corner is broken completely off with the leg still attached. This company told me that the movers would take the legs off the table and take the beds apart, did not happen. I am in Small Claims Court now. because they would not pay me for my damage furniture. They also did not complete the move. They came with a very small truck, they were told to make two trips after I had to call the office on the day of the move, because everything would not fit in the very small truck. If you need to move do not use this company, find you another moving company. If you have to wait for another company schedule to clear I suggest you should wait. I made a big mistake using Here To There Movers.

    Fraudulent and careless.

    Bought a Groupon for 94 dollars that had a 200 dollar value of moving. Was charged 600 still after the Groupon for a couch, a bedroom set, bed, two TVs, random boxes and a freezer. This job took 3 guys almost 5 hours.. When a year ago with more stuff it took a real moving company 3 hours. We were hit with gas charges for some reason even though 40mi is suppose to be in the cost. With only one "experienced" mover it made it super slow, so we had to pay for new guys to be there and damage our stuff. Then when it came time to pay we did not agree, we did not sign and yet the card was still charged. We were swore at over the phone and threatened. Will be disputing the charges.
