   Moving Minnesota to Tennessee

   After contacting American Way Moving they contracted with this company. Horrible experience. Not only did the price keep going up they kept moving the delivery day out. The foreman that picked up our belongings told us to have a cashier check ready hen they delivered. We did. Now not only did it take weeks to get our stuff delivered we were informed they won't accept a cashier check!! There is nothing good about this company. Stay away and make sure if you are moving long distance these arent the bozos that get contracted

   Moving from MN to FL

   PanAmerican Van Lines contracted with this company without my knowledge. They picked up my stuff and I was charged almost double the cost of what I was quoted originally! Very surprised & unhappy because I had listed everything that I had but they said it was 200 cu ft more. Only had a studio apt & a few extra boxes from garage. Then I waited 38 days to have my items delivered! Could not believe it took that long! I was so mad by this point. When they picked up my stuff, it was unloaded into a warehouse and then reloaded (what I thought was a semi- but turned out to be the same size truck they originally had)! When movers came to unload, they were VERY careless when unpacking/unstrapping items from truck, some things fell and broke. One thing they didn't even tell me was broken until I found out later after they left. DO NOT LET THIS COMPANY HANDLE YOUR STUFF!

   Horrible company

   American Van Lines brokered HGME without my knowledge. HGME nearly doubled my cost upon arrival for pick up. $880/ month for storage! I tried contacting them for months for a monthly charge and a place to send payment they never responded. But they sure called and emailed numerous times for delivery date. I finally got amount for storage, paid them $6000 and gave them delivery date and address and they're totally silent again! Told me they'd contact me when truck is leaving MN to GA and that it would be here in 3-7 days from departure date. That was 2 weeks ago. No response to emails, texts or phone calls for when my stuff will leave MN! I'll probably never see any of it again!

   Moving damage/loss

   USE SOME OTHER COMPANY ! We called CompleteVanLines for a move. They are only a broker and they sent HGME to physically move the items. HGME charged $2800 more than the two estimates we were given by Complete Van Lines. There was damage to many of our household goods and when we did not settle for $50 that Moving Claims offered, HGME kept referring me back to Moving Claims.

   Where is my stuff?

   They showed up and immediately upped the price significantly. I did not have more stuff, and added on a Gas surcharge. Fast forward, it is 3 weeks and I have not heard from them after countless attempts to find out when my property is coming. I am beginning to think my stuff is gone and I am out a considerable amount of money! I am at a loss as what to do other than say avoid this company.
