   Fast Movers

   They were very attentive when preparing my antique secretariat for moving and had all the furniture wrapped. With runners, floors were shielded from contamination. Good job!

   Fabulous Mover

   Our local move with them went very quickly. We were looking for efficient movers that wouldn’t waste any time and we got them. They disassembled, wrapped, and loaded at the old house. They drove to the new place and offloaded and reassembled for us. All in all it was a smooth and quick move. We were very happy with the price as well.

   Very Deceitful Move from Keswick ON to NB

   Worst decitful company with lies and uses your vunerability against you. I was over charged without able to see the weight of the one on the truck before me. I was strapped and put in a corner and they knew this. I was quoted one price and charged $4000 more. When it arrived they wanted all payment very fast as I was not prepared for that much. I was figuring out how to pay and they were going to drive away or charge me $500 for waiting time. I paid and then they had 4 people to remove my items out yet 2 of them could not do anything 1 stayed in the truck so it was only 1 unloading. A husbund and wife were there the husband told the wife don't lift anything I asked if she was pregnant or ill he said no just don't want her to work to much. I ended up unloading 80% my self as they were told to move the truck if not unloaded and I not pay another $500 even though it was not my fault it was taking so long. After unpacking I had found so many of my items broken my Murphy bed was broken and not able to be used. Huge warning to anyone looking at using this company. I have just been though so much and hoping this helps others by letting you know. I moved Sept 2022. I could go on and on but hopefully you get the drift of how this company works. You will see he will only answer the phone or text when he wants to. I have all text and messages if your interested to see how he works on your vunerability.

   Crooks

   They damage your belongings or lose or take some of your belongings as they just don't show up. They were 10 days late with our belongings. When we finally got hold of Alex's to put a claim through to our damaged furniture and missing belongings, they tell us that we need to pay a deductible. from there they just dissappear and no longer reply to emails or phone calls. They are crooks plan and simply crooks

   Scammers - Stole Deposit and will not respond

   I booked my move with House of Movers, which included putting down a $300 deposit. It was written right on my invoice, and noted in an email, that if I provided two weeks notice, I could cancel and have my deposit returned. Due to a family emergency, I emailed Alex to request that the move date be changed. A number of days went by with no response, and the phone number for the company had a full voicemail. After a week or so, I was told that Alex was out of the office for personal reasons and would look into it. However, another week went by with no response or confirmation about rescheduling. I could no longer wait, and had to find another moving company. I provided notice to House of Movers that I was cancelling with them, and requested the return of my deposit. Suddenly, Alex was back in the office - she advised she was sick, and there was no one to cover for her (for multiple weeks). I advised that I understood and was sorry for her health issues, but that I can't trust my move to a company that has no one answering the phone or emails for weeks. She then claimed that if I cancelled for this reason, I may not get my deposit back. There were absolutely no caveats like this discussed when I paid the deposit - I gave more than two weeks notice, and I am entitled to the return of my deposit. Since then, House of Movers has ignored all emails from me. I SINCERELY suggest not booking with this company. They are unreliable, and frankly appear to be scam artists.

   Awful - 0 stars

   Spent over $5000 on my move. Half of my furniture is ruined due to them taking it and ripping it off with no care. I even watched the mover drop my air purifier on my garage floor then pick it up as if nothing happened. Not to mention, they lost my bbq and no one has ever resolved the issue. I’ve called, emailed, left a review- nothing. This has been since sept. I will be filing for small Claims court if I do not hear back with a resolution.

   Zero after service

   All you people that rated this company high dodged a bullet. They make you pay before unloading anything and you should have 90 days to make a claim for any damages. You don’t have 90 seconds after you pay. They damaged my source property and the destination property along with several of my things. All toll there was $10,000 in damage. Once you pay they will not answer your phone calls, text or emails. They are on to a new victim. We ask them before the move about other 1 star ratings and they gave us some story about that client being difficult. They will probably give you some bs about my review. Just say no to this company. Hire some company that actually has a mailing address so you can confront them if something goes wrong.

   Unprofessional Company

   I paid a 200 deposit for moving services on Sept. 29, 2022. The company did not show up. I had to pay for a very expensive service because I hired another company in the last hours, as it was a closing date and I just had to give the key to the new owner of my last house. I started contacting them the day before. No answer to my phone messages, no response to emails, and no reply to text messages. It became a nightmare. On the following day, I got a message from them saying that they were willing to do the service on Sept, 30, 2022. I was amazed by the lack of professionalism. The voice message system answers like someone greeting friends, not the company. They do not state the name of the company. When we call, we feel that the company does not exist. The worse? They don't want to return my $200 deposit. I have been asking for it and as before, no answer. I do not recommend it!

    Stay away

    Still no sign of my missing bbq and no one will contact me back!! I paid over 5000$ least they could do it reimburse me for the cost of my lost bbq. Very upset.
