   Excellent service

   This is my first time writing a review. I spoke with Paul and he really took the time to address my concerns in regards to quality of care and protecting some items I've had passed down in my family a few generations. I've had to downsize and with the stressors of covid was relieved with the services provided from my initial call to the efficiency and attention to detail his crew demonstrated and carried out in smooth and paced manor. They were reasonably on time, fully equipped and protected everything I asked for and more. They disassembled and reassembled certain items I thought would be a challenge and with little effort. I feel like slathering on the compliments with a trowel here but not to seem overly buttery I have to mention the leather couch they put in my basement rec room; they really worked a miracle which saved me the grief of having to part ways with a couch Ive been watching sports on the last twenty years. Great service; Highly Recommended full access to their storage services also. Thanks again Sloan, Rodrigo and Jordan I could not have tipped you enough?.Thanks Paul!

   The building we just moved out of was a royal pain to move in and out of. The movers had to go down and through the garage to the other side then up another elevator and a long walk to the loading docks. When we moved in it took the movers 8 hours to do the job. This time a friend recommended we go with inner city moving. I am so impressed with the service, the movers were on time and had all the right dollies. They took apart our bed and wrapped everything before moving, It took them 3 hours to get us out of the building. I recommend Inner city moving to everyone. Job well done.

   Excellent service!

   We moved a few weeks ago and everything was great! Movers showed up on time, and handled our items with care. We moved from a condo and held our items in storage for a few weeks. Storing items was free! What an excellent service. Paul was great to work with and answers emails or phone calls quickly. Highly recommend.

   Best movers ever.

   We used inner city moving to move our two apartments into one house, jerry the office manager coordinate the moves and did such a great job. The movers were on time and came prepared. It was like clock work, they pack the first apartment and then the 2nd on one truck, took it all to our new home off loaded and place every thing ware they should be. The move was completed within budget with no damages. I recommend inner city moving 10 out of 10. Very pleased.

   This company has absolutely no integrity

   Just for the record, I don't usually write bad reviews. I will sing the praises of a company or individual who does a good job, but I don't waste my time writing bad reviews as I often assume that they will damage a company's reputation and that is rarely worthwhile. In this case, it is worthwhile. I have a few positive things to say, but overall, this was one of the worst customer service experiences that I've ever had. I was completely ripped off and the owner will not take responsibility. He lacks integrity and as a result, I have no respect for him. For starters, the movers arrived over 2 hours late. This happens. I wasn't upset. I asked for an extra person because the plan was to hoist my couch over the balcony so as not to ruin it. The extra person who came spent the whole time looking for his earbud that he had lost and without my consent, the movers forced my couch through the narrow passageway in the staircase where it was damaged as a result. They did not need the third mover as the only reason I had requested him was for the couch. They made a decision without talking to me about it and as a result they caused preventable damage to a piece of furniture that if very important to me. When they arrived, I asked them to cover my pieces in blankets to avoid damage. They did not. Everything had chips and scrapes on it and my bedsheets that were covered with heavy plastic, were torn in 5 places. It was a row of L-shaped tears indicating that they forced it through a tight space and it got snagged time and time again. I paid the bill and I even gave each of the 3 movers a generous tip because they worked hard. I then contacted the owner and listed all of the damage that was caused in the move (including destroying the plaster on a wall). I didn't ask to be paid for the value of my possessions, rather, I asked to be reimbursed for the cost of the extra person as he wasn't needed for the move. I complained about the fact that, without consulting me, they forced my couch through a tight space and damaged it. I was upset with the fact that they didn't protect my furniture with blankets even though I had requested it and that the move only took them 2 hours but I was paying for 4 hours. They had more than enough time to protect my possessions but they didn't do it. I had hired them for the large items only. All the boxes had already been moved. I paid a fee for 3 movers for 4 hours and got the equivalent of 2 movers for 2 hours. When I asked the owner to reimburse me for the cost of the 3rd mover, he refused. He did not apologize, nor did he take responsibility for any of the damage. I place a very high value on integrity. Mistakes happen - we're human. To own the mistake and to take responsibility for it is what differentiates a good company from a bad one. This company has no integrity and I will never use them again. Patrice
