   Brilliant company

   We used Kilmarnock Removals recently and it was an excellent service from the start. The admin staff on the phone were brilliant. I had to move my date 3 times and it never seemed a problem. On the move day, the two guys that moved us were professional and so very hard working. I would thoroughly recommend Kilmarnock Removals. 10 out of 10 service.

   Amazing Service.

   Very impressed from the first contact I had with Liz who kept in contact with me all through lockdown to see how things were going. On the actual moving day the boys arrived ( Alex and Sean) early, very polite and explained to us how the move would go. Very good service would not hesitate to recommend or to use this company again.

   Damage and Poor Insurance Coverage.

   The communication with the office was good considering we were in COVID lockdown at the time I was booking. The removals guys were polite and turned up when they said. I was having a pick up into storage followed by delivery from storage at a later date. As I had quite expensive TVs I opted for the higher level insurance and paid a premium for this for each stage (pick up, storage and delivery). There was a reasonable amount of damage to furniture bumps and scrapes which was an annoyance however they damaged a canvass and a super king mattress. Their insurance adjuster calculated the pay out at £400 after excess for a £1200 mattress and a £200 canvass. I am only glad they didn't break a TV as the insurance would in no way have covered the cost to replace. In fact the pay-out probably only covered the amount I paid to take out the 'higher' level cover in the first place. The situation left a sour taste in mouth and I wouldn't recommend them for transporting anything of value in future.
