   Maffucci Moving

   Excellent service from the first interaction to the final delivery. I had a long distance move with two different delivery locations and it all went perfectly. The entire staff was terrific, from the person who created the estimate, the support staff in the office, the group that picked up as well as those that delivered.

   Stolen items

   My family used this company back in October. They initially did a great job, but once we started to unpack, precious items were missing. When we realized this, we called and the owner told us to call the police and leave a report with them instead of saying he would talk to his guys and look into the situation on his part. Extremely disappointed in the end. During such an exciting time in my family’s life, turned into feeling so violated without support from the owner. We did call the police and file a claim.

   They are dishonest

   Wow these long moves seem so cheap. I was charged 6000 to move 3 miles. Just sneaky and dishonest IMO. Nickel and dime you for everything. Over charging for packing and boxes. Most of my boxes were filled with paper. As someone else said I already have 2 pods of stuff in storage and my move was MORE than when I moved into the house 2 years ago. Total scammers!!

   Maffucci Moving & Storage

   The least I can say is Maffucci/Bekins fulfilled its contractual obligation to deliver my furniture and boxes from NYC to my destination in Minneapolis. The move along with two months storage were handled without incident. Most distressing and source of anger was the loss of my wife’s jewelry, both from a financial and sentimental standpoint. I specifically blame Maffucci and its packers for this happening. The jewelry was last seen when Maffucci’s packers dumped it into a box from my wife’s dresser never advising her of the apparent risk. After I reported the loss not once did anyone from Maffucci contact me. After this poor treatment, I don’t plan on including Maffucci Moving & Storage on my list of movers when there is a next time. Even though I filed an insurance claim I don’t expect much financial compensation. My next step will be filing a report with the legal authorities to bring this matter to light.

   Unethical

   I recommend you find someone else to do your move. These folks were unethical in dealing with me and my legitimate insurance claim where they severely damaged my fathers antique desk. I paid thousands for insurance, but I was denied on a technicality. I reluctantly decided not to take legal action against them.

   They are thieves and liars

   This company moved us from New York to Tennessee. They PROMISED delivery in 18 days and did not deliver for 22 days. Not a big issue except we needed to go out of town at the precise time they actually delivered. I was clear from the beginning that I would not be available for a five day window. They didn’t care once they had my furniture. They quoted me a price that was $600 less than what I ultimately paid. Again not a big issue except that subsequent to getting the quote we drove a 15 foot U-Haul down to Tennessee but still somehow ended up paying $600 more for much less property to be delivered. They stole several boxes that contained collectible action figures and collectible rubber ducks. The staff is very rude and we were threatened that somebody had better be at the house when the furniture was delivered causing my husband to remain behind from an important family function. In addition, they broke the side of a piece of furniture and simply stuck the piece back to hide what they had done. This company is absolutely the most unprofessional and dishonest company I have ever encountered.
