Excellent Service
I ordered a fire pit set from BJ’s Club. Two days later I received a text to schedule delivery. Customer service was quick to schedule delivery and arrived 4 days later. I received numerous updates during the time I called until the delivery. I even received a call from the delivery men when they were 40 minutes away. Parking was limited at the house and the men parked their truck down the street and hand trucked it to the backyard in 98* weather. Unbelievable. Great service and very polite. It couldn’t get any better. Thank You

I was nervous... all went VERY WELL
This is a REAL review... you can look me up, I am a REAL human and just your average consumer. I gleefully saved and splurged and bought my DREAM BED from Anthropologie... ... and once my shipping order was prepared, I was mortified when I looked up reviews for Metropolitan Warehouse and Delivery... I mean, as you can see... it was bleak, folks, very, very bleak. There was nothing I could do, I mean it was out my my hands... so all I could hope for was that the stars were in alignment and nothing went wrong with my order and delivery. Well... actually, no... I'm not one to sit back and passively "hope". I called Anthropologie... like numerous times... to micromanage where my bed was remotely-- had it left their warehouse yet? Had it arrived to Metropolitan yet? How long would each process take? When would I hear news? They were receptive and informative... and then... it arrived to the Metropolitan Warehouse... A rep from Metropolitan got in touch with me PRONTO... and said they would schedule for delivery within 2 days. I marked my calendar, I took names. I didn't need to... they called on time, scheduled a larger ballpark window, giving me the exact week I could expect delivery. Then a week before THAT week, they called to schedule for the exact day. 24 hours before, I received an automated call telling me to expect deliverry betw 8AM-12. The movers called me at 7:30A the next day, to ask if it was ok if they showed up in 20 min! They arrived, carefully brought my bed in, white-glove setup went smoothly, and they couldn't have been more respectful, professional, and kind. And I am HAPPY AS A CLAM with my new dream bed! So... may this be the first 5-star review for Metropolitan Warehouse and Delivery... of many more to come...

Failure to deliver
If I could give negative stars I would. This company is Burrow House’s white glove delivery provider, and my experience has been anything but “white glove.” On June 16, I scheduled my delivery for June 26 and was assured I would receive a call 24 hours in advance with my delivery window. Instead, on the morning of June 26, I received a notification that my delivery would not be made and was prompted to reschedule for July 10. After calling customer service, I was told my couch was already in their warehouse in Indiana and that they could deliver it on June 30. Based on that assurance, I rearranged my work schedule and accepted the new delivery date. On the morning of June 30, I received a text confirming my delivery window was between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Less than an hour later, I received another text stating my delivery was unavailable and prompting me, once again, to reschedule for July 10. This level of service is unacceptable. I’ve now rearranged my work schedule twice based on delivery commitments that were never honored. The communication has been inconsistent, the scheduling unreliable, and the customer experience incredibly frustrating. If you’re ordering from Burrow, I strongly recommend declining the white glove delivery service if this is the company providing it. And if you’re purchasing from another retailer that uses this delivery provider, I’d encourage you to consider taking your business elsewhere.

Failure to deliver as promised- Broken process
As large and well established as this company is, it is deeply concerning that leadership has not taken meaningful action to address the volume and consistency of negative customer reviews. The feedback clearly indicates a need for a thorough review of both internal operations and external delivery processes, as well as accountability at the leadership level. Unfortunately, our experience reflects these systemic failures. My husband and I recently purchased a new home and, after extensive research, he spent considerable time locating a unique vintage bed. This was not a standard item it was a one-of-a-kind antique piece that cannot be easily replaced. Once the bed was secured, delivery arrangements were made through this company. My husband was required to pay the delivery fee separately, which we did on December 4. At that time, we had already disposed of our previous bed and were sleeping on the floor, anticipating delivery the following week. Instead, what followed was a series of delays, rescheduled delivery dates, and inconsistent communication, all of which caused significant frustration and inconvenience. In late December, we were informed without prior notice that a critical piece of the bed had been lost. This rendered the bed unusable, as the floating nightstands attach directly to the headboard and could not be installed without the missing component. As a result, the bed was incomplete and could not serve its intended purpose. We escalated the matter to the seller, who stepped in to assist and address the issue on her end. At that point, my husband and I stepped back, trusting the company to resolve the matter appropriately. However, we are now faced with another serious issue: this company is refusing to issue the seller a full refund for an expensive antique item, despite their admitted failure. Additionally, we are still awaiting reimbursement for the delivery fee that we paid directly. To date, we remain without a bed and are still sleeping on the floor while attempting to locate another comparable vintage piece an extremely difficult task given the uniqueness of the original item. This company not only failed us as customers but also failed the seller. After reviewing numerous customer complaints, it is evident that this is not an isolated incident. Leadership should be closely reviewing these patterns, reassessing roles, and restructuring processes where necessary. There is a clear need for operational oversight, accountability, and a comprehensive overhaul of both internal and customer-facing systems. We are committed to ensuring this experience is documented so that other customers do not endure similar situations. There will be continued follow-up regarding this case until it is resolved appropriately.

Worst Delivery Service
The Quince delivery team (aka metropolitan warehouse) took one look at my front door and refused to even unload the furniture from the truck. Just last week, I had a larger couch delivered and successfully placed in the basement through the same entrance—no issues at all. That couch had a height of 39 inches, while the Quince couch was only 34 inches. I had double-checked the dimensions and knew it could easily fit through multiple entrances in my home. The delivery team seemed unprofessional and unwilling to try. I’m sharing this review so that other customers are aware—don’t assume you’ll get helpful or competent delivery service just because the product is nice.

Terrible Customer Service
I ordered furniture from Abbyson on 5/26/2022, with 2-4 weeks delivery terms. Metropolitan Warehouse & Delivery was contracted for the delivery and scheduled the first attempt for 7/6/2022. On 7/6/2022, I received a call several hours into the scheduled delivery time from Metropolitan Warehouse & Delivery customer service, stating that the delivery truck had broken down and needed to reschedule for the end of July. This timeframe was unacceptable as the first scheduled delivery date was already at 6 weeks of 2-4 week delivery. Customer service scheduled the delivery for a second attempt on 7/15/2022. On 7/15/2022, several hours into my scheduled delivery window, I received another phone call from Metropolitan Warehouse & Delivery stating that the delivery truck had broken down a second time in two weeks. The suggested new delivery date was 8/1/2022. This delay is unacceptable.

Terrible customer service
They were supposed to do white glove delivery and refused to assemble the furniture. Despite several phone calls in which they said they would assemble. Every time you call, they place you on hold forever and it seems like they have no recollection of the prior conversations. Then they said they need approval from a different department. When I asked her what department she couldn't tell me. Just terrible experience. And lots and lots of money wasted. Please don't spend yours on this company.

What a bunch of Cowboys.
On Wednesday Diana Cruz sent the below message Hi, we are contacting you from Metropolitan Warehouse and Delivery in regards of your order#**2666. We are going to do the delivery on for Friday Oct/30 and time frame between 01:30 PM-05:30 PM, to the address on file, 100 North ** Avenue, **, IL, ZIP: **. You will also receive a 30 minute previous notice from our delivery team on the day of the delivery. Please call us back to confirm at 866-466-3876. I confirmed back the same day. This morning I cleared the area of my living room ready for delivery. At 1pm the driver called to say they would be at the delivery address in 20 minutes. I told him I had a delivery window of 1.30 to 5.30, and I had a conference call between 1.00 and 1.30 (people do have lives outside of the delivery windows). At 1.08 Diana Cruz called to ask if I was available for the delivery, I stated yes I was after 1.30 Diana called back at 1.31 and 1.35 when I was already heading down to the 1st floor. I arrived there at 1.35 the delivery truck had already departed. Everything above is factual and verifiable. This company is an absolute disgrace!

Moving and storage.
1 star because 0 is not an option..contracted to move and store high value furniture from Denver to San Francisco. Furniture was stored for 3 years and then "got lost". I chased MW for 6 months and finally received a partial delivery, all of which was damaged and/or missing pieces. My men's and ladies' desk/chair combos were both damaged beyond reasonable repair. My couch was delivered without cushions. All furniture was brand new/unused as the move was unexpected. We selected MW for these high value items because on the recommendation of one of the retailers; we used a national moving company for the bulk of the move, segregating out these few high value items. I have now been chasing MW for 6 weeks for resolution and am still getting the run around. Incompetent and negligent to say the least. The ladies desk was apparently used by the movers as a make up vanity -- stained with bottles, cosmetic residue and smelling of perfume. I note the desk was brand new, unused and my wife is allergic to cosmetics and does not use any. I attach photos of my men's desk to show a few examples of what happened to my previously new and mint condition desk. Finish completely trashed and high end nickel hardware now missing and replaced with machine screws. I had a host of other problems with these folks but just trying to give a synopsis. Walking through the various steps on my way to a lawsuit which will also seek damages.
