DONT HIRE THIS COMPANY
I am very disappointed! I was a contractor! We parted ways due to rude office staff and none payments! I am still owed money for work my company did!

Highly recommend against hiring this company
Don't do it. This company mid-quotes, the workers are slow and they don't even move what you ask them too. Find a better company. We wish we had.

Don’t waste your time
Don’t use this company. I scheduled a move and they were able to fit me in last minute which was great, so I stopped calling other places. However, they ended up canceling on me, I was frustrated but was okay I would just move another day with them. The reason for the bad review is because after the canceled on me, through a text they NEVER answered the phone or text message! I called 4 or 5 times and sent a text and nothing, after reading all of the other reviews it is probably best not to even call them at the start of the search process!!

DO NOT USE THEM!! TAKE THE WARNING FROM ALL THE 1 STARS!!!!
We are all entitled to our own opinions, right? Well here's mine based off my personal experience: Please take the warnings from all of the yelp reviews that you see! I saw the 1 star reviews but wanted to give them a chance (they were CHEAP). Do not book a moving with this company. I don't care if they're offering you a promotion to move you for free. My mom always told me you pay for what you get. And this here is the prime example. They have attractive pricing but do horrible work. This one star should be a zero. I do my very best to leave positive yelp reviews but I cannot find much positive things to say about this company. I booked this company to move me from my townhouse to my home. I spoke to Richard Gordan on the phone who was very pleasant. He made me feel at ease as if the move was going to be a breeze. Long story short I selected to have these guys move me from 2 PM to 4 PM. That is the window that they were supposed to show up to start my move. I didn't get a phone call until 4:16 PM saying that they were going to be there at 5:16 which was an hour and 16 minutes beyond their window. No one called me at all during the 2 to 4 window to let me know that they were going to be late. When the guys showed, up they showed up in a 15 foot box truck to move a three bedroom townhouse, with kitchen and living room and patio furniture. I can't be mad at them because they were just showing up with what they were supplied with. The team was three young black men who were very respectful and hard-working. I do believe they did the very best they could with what they had unfortunately the entire job from beginning to end was a FAIL. I spent three days clearing out the townhouse putting everything in the garage to make this move a breeze as I wanted this to go by very quick and smooth. They were charging me $144 an hour so I wanted to utilize as less hours as possible. Long story short I had a few big pieces of furniture upstairs that I needed the young men to move. You will see pictures of what happened as they moved the furniture from the rooms, down the stairs and into the truck. These guys destroyed my stairwell walls as well as left huge scratches and gouges on the stairs. Right now we're going through Covid19, I have a pregnant wife at home, and she went to go use the restroom in our townhouse where she found a nice surprise were one of the movers decided to use the bathroom and left behind some of his droppings. This was absolutely nasty and it really pissed me off but I continued to roll with the punches. Because the truck that the gentleman was supplied was so small, they were not able to get all of my belongings into the truck. This meant that we would need to make a second trip which in turn would cost me more money as it would take more time in mileage. I was so frustrated at that time I just told the gentleman to pack the truck with what they could and let's just go. This experience was such a nightmare that when we arrived to our new home I took the team to the side and told them that we cannot repeat what happened at my last place. I told them that I wanted them to slow down and to figure out how to get the furniture in the home without tearing up my new walls. I even jumped in moving things myself. I moved almost every big piece of furniture helping these guys maneuver it up and down the stairs. When we hire movers and moving companies you want to have a peace of mind that your belongings are in good hands and that these movers are not going to tear up the place that you're moving into. With this company I was afraid from my new place as I knew they were going to tear some things up. There are pictures here as proof to what happened in my last place. I've been charged hundreds of dollars as I've had to get the walls puttied and repainted. I've also had to hire someone to come out and fix the stairs as those scratches left in my wood stairs caused a lot of damage. Again, the three gentlemen that were moving us were very very nice and respectful and I think they were doing the best they could with what they were given however this move was trash from the start. You truly pay for what you get. These guys charged me $605 to move me from one Raleigh area to another and the price was really affordable however the work presented was not worth it. I would like to extend the biggest WARNING to every person that reads this review, I don't care how cheap of a price you were quoted, do not do business with this moving company at all. The amount of money that it's cost me to repair what they have done has sent my entire moving bill way over budget. The simple fact that I have been reaching out to this company for over two weeks now and trying to get them to work with me and talk to me about this damage Is frustrating. I've sent emails, called So many times my phone knows them by heart and I've literally spoken to two people. Currently they have dont NOTHING to rectify this claim! STAY AWAY FROM MILESTONE!!

No Show!
This team was a no-show. I went with Milestone Relocation Solutions because I used them for my move back in 2018 and had great service, so it was a no-brainer. After multiple attempts and no response back I'm left stranded.. I have called, emailed, and texted without a response.

Milestone Relocation Solutions is a no show.
We were confirmed for a move in Chapel Hill NC from 3-5 pm on Aug 28, 2020. At 4 pm I got a text saying they were still coming. They never showed up, and now won't answer phone calls, emails or texts. Horrible!

Dc Market - Stay Away From Them.
DC MARKET - DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS. They are super communicative until moving day, and then they will no-show and dodge your calls! 1 star only because 0 isn’t an option. Today is my moving day. The movers were meant to arrive between 9-11 am. Last night at 7 pm, just 14 hours before the arrival window, I get a text from Chase asking me if I can reschedule to one day later because he isn’t available. I said I cannot reschedule because my landlord expects me out, I can’t get parking permits on short notice, etc. - you know, all the normal reasons why a move, unlike a haircut, can’t just be rescheduled on 14 hours notice. Chase said that he will try to get a team assigned to my move. I asked for confirmation once that is done, which I didn’t get. Fast forward to this morning. Still no word from Chase confirming that someone is coming to move me. At around 9:20 am, Chase tells me to contact the “main boss” (who I assume is Scott Sanderson) or Christine. He gave me Christine’s number. I called her, she said she would get back to me in 15 minutes. A couple hours and several unanswered calls and texts to both Scott and Christine later, Christine texts me to say that “customer service” is trying to reach me but can’t get through. I said I’ve been sitting next to my phone for hours, so that’s impossible. After I asked for it a couple times, she finally gave me their number. I called, no answer so I left a message. I also doubt whether it’s actually customer service because there was no outgoing message. Then Christine asked me to call Chase to sort it out - even though Chase, who at this point has been ignoring me for hours, told me to contact Christine. After hours of this, Chase texts me at around 1:30 - my move was supposed to be done or almost done by then - to finally admit that no one is going to help me today, and asks if I’m able to book someone else. On a Sunday. For a same-day move. Still haven’t figured out what the heck I’m going to do because it’s a Sunday during a pandemic. But I didn’t want to waste any time letting you all know NOT TO BOOK THESE PEOPLE.

Moving.
My moving experience with Milestone was an absolute disaster. First, they neglected to forward the details of my move to their local contractor resulting in them showing up with a truck not large enough for the job, nor the necessary help. The poor guy ended up using his wife to drive their pickup truck to handle the balance of the load. Even with stuffing my car to the brim, I had to leave personal property behind. Second, the contractor's one loader quit in the middle of the move and refused to travel across the state. My girlfriend, her sister and I ended up having to unload the truck with the mover and his wife. The move that was "estimated" to finish by 5PM, didn't end until 1AM for which they charged us extra. Afterwards when I complained to the Milestone corporate office, I got absolutely NO cooperation, NO understanding, NO refund or discount. Only excuses, one of which was to blame me for underestimating the move; even though I gave a detailed item list and pictures; none of which was forwarded to their local contractor. This is a terrible company with poor leadership at the highest level. They assumed no responsibility for the breakdown in communication and/or the poor performance. I would not recommend this moving company to ANYONE..

Brazen incompetents who wouldn’t even know where to lookup the word.
The morning of my scheduled move, a representative called me and informed me that “a surprise inspection from the Department of Transportation” had occurred and “one of their trucks was red-tagged.” The representative then proceeded to ask if I could reschedule the move to which I declined for reasons that should be obvious. The representative then indicated that she would “see what she could do” and attempt to find a different crew to do the job. She indicated that she would call me back “shortly” with an update. I waited over an hour for a call until it reached the point that I needed an update immediately, so I called. There was no answer of the number she called from, the number provided to me in the email from my sales rep., or the general sales number. I left voicemails on all three numbers, never to receive a response. This resulted in me scrambling around attempting to find a different moving company that would do a same-day move for me. The fact that my move was not completed as agreed-upon due to an inspection failure is so obviously not a problem or concern of mine for two reasons. 1. They are a business. They should be prepared with a backup for situations such as this or any other that are similar. No excuse. 2. Again, as a business providing a service to the public, they should not even allow trucks, equipment, or otherwise to ever reach a level where they would fail a surprise inspection. That’s a HUGE negligence liability.

Do Not Use This Company - Fraud.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! This company is one big scam. Richard Gordon, whom I booked my move with, is the biggest scam artist. As is the supervisor in the VA office, Christine. They overcharged after sending two movers instead of three. I've called so many times. I've left Richard three voicemails, three emails; and whoever the supervisor there is won't return any of my calls either. The supervisor refuses to pay me the difference in the fraudulent charge. I'm still dealing with this entire hassle THREE MONTHS LATER!
