Great Service !!
I recently got a job in california and my company needed me to move fairly quickly. From the time I received the job offer until the time I actually had to move was about a week. My wife was very frantic and we began packing and looking for moving companies. Every company we called said they would have to charge an exorbitant extra fee in order to pick up and pack our items. Long story short, we contacted Alex at national promovers. He offered us a free in-home estimate and immediately came out the next day. this was extremely convenient due to the fact that my wife is still nursing our 3 month old baby as well as caring for our 2 year old twins. Alex emailed me our estimate that evening and we were booked to move that next morning. Movers arrived to my home that saturday packed up our items and were gone. Clean, fast, no fuss. About a week and a half or so movers showed up to our home in ontario, ca and unpacked everything! The service was prompt and efficient. GO NATIONAL PROMOVERS!!

National pro movers.
I had a move from GA to FLA and all the other companies overpriced my move. Alex was very helpful and knowledgable about the moving industr. We priced each room to ensure it was an accurate binding price. They packed our items like it was their own and I appreciated the awesome care they showed my things. I would call them to move me any day, Very thorough!! Thanks National Pro Movers in Doraville, Ga.

Lost Item.
One other reveiwer broke down the experience into separate parts, as will I: 1.) Moving from Atlanta GA to Sacramento CA. The packing went professionally. They collected partial payment in cash as was expressed by movers. 2.) Furniture arrived approx 2 weeks later in CA, right after I acquired new home. Any working musicians out there? All items were delivered EXCEPT for my Fender Rumble 75 bass amp! http://www.amazon.com/Fender-Rumble-75-Bass-Amplifier/product-reviews/B00365YTOY The driver told me he may have dropped it off at the location prior to my delivery in another town! What?!? After several days (weeks) and several phone calls, did I get it back..no! Finally filed a claims with Pro Movers. They made me go through the claim process, I just happended to have photos of items before the move. PLEASE PHOTOGRAPH ALL ITEMS PRIOR TO MOVE! After filling out the extensive claims forms with all required information, Pro Movers told me that the claim policy for lost goods was .60 cents (..I don't even see a cent sign on my laptop anymore!) per pound! Since I had exact specs of my item showing 55 pounds (hence I had the movers take the item instead of myself), they offered me $33 to settle the claim! What?!? Not only did I pay over $200 for that item, as a part-time working musician, it certainly represented a lot more to me than it's price! And they lost (stole) it! I told them to shove it! This is my posted review! Buyers beware. Please ask/read about replacement policies of damaged or lost items. You get what you pay for!

Garbage company- you have been warned!
BEWARE!! BEWARE! BEWARE!! If there is only one review you ever pay attention to, please let this be the one. I am genuinely trying to help other consumers to not have to experience what I did. I have never in my life experienced anything like this as a customer. DESPICABLE GARBAGE COMPANY. I will start with my furniture pickup. The time for my moving day was not ever confirmed. The experience was overall good but I did have a few things that I wanted to alert the company about afterwards- more of just a heads up. Mainly that the lead on my project shared with me he had just started that day after applying over the weekend- no background check or anything. And I expressed concern on how I saw a few items were handled. I did so via email and had to request a RESPONSE and was treated with defensiveness and was more or less called a liar. I have never been treated this way as a customer in my life. I was completely taken aback; shocked in fact. It all went downhill from there. I was being punished. I was storing my belongings in their warehouse and all of a sudden was told I now owed 60 more per month. I inquired about a copy of my inventory list 3x after my first move and was completely ignored. I became so concerned that everything I owned was in this place- I felt uneasy and that my stuff was unsafe. When I provided a move date for furniture delivery 3 months later, I was never acknowledged and then GHOSTED for OVER a MONTH when I would inquire about a plan. Finally I heard something. I honestly thought I would never see my stuff again and was literally a day away from filing a local police report. When my furniture finally arrived, I had severe damage to all of my bedroom furniture (which was expensive). In fact there wasn’t a piece of furniture in my home that didn’t have some form of damage to it. EVERY single box was either squished, tattered or torn. I had so many broken items, especially dishes and things that couldn’t be replaced. I move often and know how to pack, so that was definitely not the issue. A tv was missing. My bed was missing the hardware so couldn’t be put together. I could go on and on about the damage and every little negative thing that I experienced throughout this move but will stop at this. Moving is stressful enough- this experience was so horrible. I am a very calm person so I can’t imagine how someone who isn’t or deals with anxiety would handle this. Please also know this was an almost 10k move. I am now taking legal action. I don’t care how many other reviews are positive- if this could happen to me, it could happen to you. Please please please spend your money with a national and reputable company with numerous locations so you can deal with more than one person and get response. I requested an owner or general manager contact me several times and I could never get past the dispatcher who again was completely nasty and rude. CAROL J, karma will get you! When I sent pictures almost immediately of all the damage, they said they weren’t in the allotted time after move which was a bold face lie. WHAT? So no reimbursement whatsoever. I feel like I was robbed right in front of my eyes and sat there and watched it and couldn’t do anything about it. Lastly, it was a partner company of theirs that actually delivered my furniture. The head of that company told me he would deny it if I repeated it but that he has never seen so much damage and thought I was totally done dirty! This review is not exaggerated. In fact, it is grossly understated. DO NOT ENGAGE THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY.

Really bad experience and service.
This company was contracted for me through a moving agency. It took 27 working days for my things to arrive because some outside party called and said that I was not ready for my things. Instead of contacting me, they just held my stuff. Valuable things were missing upon delivery. I had to contact their insurance carrier just to get a response from them. Fifteen months later, I am still waiting to be paid a minuscule fee for my lost items. Also, I was charged much more money than was initially quoted. Interesting, my pound overage and fees were at the exact limit allowed to be considered legal.

Avoid this company!!
If there was a lower rating, I would definitely use it!! This was a horrible experience for us. We had no problem booking and planning with them. But once they arrived on the scene we had nothing but problems: our estimate more than doubled, our items were over two weeks late no explanation or communication, though they said that they would be handling our job from beginning to end--they lied, they brokered out our move, they hired day laborers that appeared to have no moving experience, even our driver had no idea or knowledge of our original company, items were damaged and mishandled, horrible communication throughout the move, they removed permanent fixtures from our former home and now will not return them or answer any of our communication--which has been over 10 phone calls and texts, customer service reps continue to state that there is no one that we can speak with to help resolve our concerns. Therefore, we have been forced to obtain legal counsel to begin to sue. We have moved many times and never experienced anything like this. They will increase your agreed upon charges and they will hold your items until you pay the extra money. Avoid those company at all costs!!

Unprofessional.
The driver Jacob arrived a bit late, but accepted it. First of all he did not remember to bring a credit card receipt and box to slide my card. He apologized and took photos of my card and drivers license with his personal phone camera. NOT GOOD. I was told that I could cut costs by wrapping some of my items. I attempted to save money by bubble wrapping my china cabinet, and I was happy with the job. Without asking me, he ripped off all the packaging and did his own. I had opted not to purchase a box for my mattress and box springs to save money, and covered each separately with a plastic zipper bag. They covered that up with some black plastic, again not telling me if there would be an additional cost. Two weeks later, my things still not delivered, I got a cost sheet from Budget Van Lines telling me the driver charged me $150. for a bulky item. I don't know which item that was, and was not told I'd pay extra for any particular item. Then I saw another charge for $267 for special packaging. I have no idea what that was, or was I asked if I even wanted it. I had packed everything myself as I did when I moved there 3 years ago, and I was happy with what I did. Then the owner Jeremy tried 10 times to use my credit card. It never worked for him. I had to wire him $1,000.00 which I had not intended on doing. I had to pay $20 for the wire, and that should not have happened. It was not my fault they can't use a credit card, every other purchase I made had no problems using my credit card. Jeremy never talked to me, barely even sent emails, would not call my credit card company as I asked him to, didn't call me to talk to me. His receptionist said "he is a very busy man." Any owner who does not serve his customers well, has a doomed business. I would not recommend this company to any one. Many phone calls and rare answers from them. It is now 15 days since pick up and I have no idea when they will deliver my things to the storage facility. Poorest customer service I've ever seen. If you use Budget Van Lines, make sure the trucks they hire are reputable companies. This one is not.

Don't use them!
Myself like another customer because of Alex's customer service. I was hoping that the entire experience would go well since he was a pleasure to work with. Don't let that fool you. Once they come for pick-up that's when everything goes downhill. The fee goes up $500 and the customer service is horrible especially from the supervisor, Jeremy. Our fee not only increased during pickup but also during delivery because the drivers arrived early than expected.Long story short, use another company. It's not worth the hassle.
